im a fan of wangan and this movie is full of mistakes, i actualy think that the 1990 version is better it was a real devil Z turbo. the watanabes are way to small it should had been 16" no Bre wing, the wrecked one is not a coupe its a 2+2 and the breaks has 5 nuts on it! wtf? when they lift it you can also notice it doesnt has a engine too. they used the same hood when they first fixed and when it was wreck again. reina not driving a R32 i mean realy i dont know what they tought!
I'm definitely gonna keep my eyes peeled for this movie. It looks awesome! Man...why didn't the Initial D Live Action movie have this sort of treatment?

this is going to be a great movie! but fans will complain about it because there are fiew mistakes. i already found a couple in the trailers #1 no huge intercooler,#2 the whecked Z got 5 nits rotors and when you look the devil Z got 4 nuts.#3 licence plate is 53-68 and in serie its 53-681 #4 reina drive a red r34 GTR .
purist will complain for sure but im sur it will be a great movie if you forget about the details ^^
well the reality is the anime wasnt accurate to the manga, the original 1990's live action movies werent accurate to the manga... but i still hate how this movie drags in modern elements, the original Manga was set way back in 1991, and most of the cars didnt even exist yet, also it seems like another fast and furious type film, i bet its also been immensely dumbed down will neglect all the technical elements...
There's probably a decent chance that this movie will be coming to America, but only when it's available on DVD....The Shuto Kousoku Trial series (Freeway Speedway in America) were released stateside...But if I remember correctly, it had a limited sale due to lack of funding for a US distribution.
so...IF...Wangan Midnight gets a US DVD Release...better snatch it up when you see it!

yeahh, But you do know people in chinatown or hobbystores are going to have it lucky my hobbystore imports Japanese movies and stuff soo I'm hoping to get it when it comes out on DVD!

Because the live Action was made by some chinese people... no real Initial D live action would fail to have Tsuchiya Keiichi make a cameo appearance!
