what makes brad a hero is that none of this fight was his fight he had no beef with tha company at all but he chose to help them fight tha company and then with tha pipe was just very heroic he gave his life for them.

He was inside that water pipe holding up the 'bridge' in order for MIchael and the rest to pass through it to get Scylla, and the water came and took him out. Gave his life to get them through.

@slavesbydesign yeah, then the door slammed on his foot. Within 4 hours it had swelled up to 3 times its normal size. Shortly after a blood vessell burst. Tancredi tried to save him but he bled out. Lincoln was shouting "BRAD, NO, BRAD", but it was too late. RIP Bellick.

Prison sure changed Brad. Well at least his place in the prison yards.. But it brought out a side of Bellick we came to love, became a hero instead of the bribe-taking asshole CO. Thought he was just an ongoing joke while at Sona but it's clear why the writers kept him alive and running with the group.

I guess he was a typical Bully type of character, when in power he abuses it but on an level field he can really be a cool guy and even a crybaby at times.

I remember hating Bellick so much in season 1 and a little less in season 2 but in 3 and 4 he became a changed man, I guess Bellick was never really a bad man, he was just a product of his environment. In season one, the CO he had to act like a mean bastard but when he went so low to the depths of Sona, it changed him.
