suede were one of the best bands of all time.
HOWEVER,
I am so GLAD that brett no longer loooks and acts like a female slut.
u know what im talking about.
the songs they wrote(and the ones brett still writes) ...AMAZING.
nothing short of outstanding and genius.

How amazing is it that Suede were labeled derivative? they dont harken back to anything. That guy was a wanker who used the word 'harken'. Imagine if Wolf Mother had of broke in 92!

@smedley If you were in the UK at that time you'd have understood - Everett True had nailed his colours firmly to the mast of Grunge, and the music press being what they were had to make it an either/or thing, which as a Suede fan and a Nirvana fan I find more than a little dispiriting.
@NaMrJellyRek Brett was (like a lot of indie folk at the time) ingesting a significant amount of Ecstacy - which has a habit of bringing out the "femme" side in guys... ;)
