Cain + Pill Bottle helps out immensely again. The game doesnt regard Telepills as bad pills, so you can get them on a semi-regular basis and if you dont, you get a chance for an HP up.

I recently had an Eve run myself where I had to choose between Pony and Book of Revelations... I stuck with the pony and I was so grateful later on rooms with spikes and gaps and non-aerial enemies that I might have otherwise died on :D

not 100% sure about this but i think when you have Brimstone or Technology any upgrades pertaining to tears (tears up, range up, dmg up) all just apply to damage. When you get them with Technology they also seem to widen the beam.

I could make a long list of reasons why I dislike Eve, but the simple one is this: I can go the whole run not using her passives, and benefit. All her passives take hearts, and are useless given other strategies. Ironically, I find Blue Baby easier to use than her..
