Guys, the tutorial isn't that bad. Tutorials like this aren't supposed to be aimed at complete beginners, not everyone can remember patterns on a musical instrument, whereas others can. This video is aimed at those who can, so stop ranting. Why the heck would someone with no musical talent try and learn Bohemian Rhapsody?

this is by far the worst video piano tutorial i've ever seen. your hands are distracting and since the camera is placed directly above the keys, its almost impossible to see what keys you're playing. i would suggest you change the camera angle to see from the side just a tad so we can actually learn the song.

stop being so picky guys! sheesh! this person comes along and is courteous enough to upload a video playing bohemian rhapsody slowly, WHICH DOES HELP! and you guys are just being messed up. if this isn't what you expected, then go to ANOTHER tutorial. that's why theres more than one. he made this video for those who learn better by sight...not for those of you that expect the person to explain every single movement....i find it VERY helpful....;)

As rude as roxxas5 was, he is, in a way, correct. This isn't the piano version of the song. People always end up playing the singers' notes and it annoys me. I learned the real version and it is truly the best way to play the song on piano.

REGARDLESS, it is a wonderful video and is beautifully played. :)

many of you have no idea what transcriptions are about, and why there are so many versions. a piano is not a guitar. it is capable of playing the full song. composers compose orchestral pieces via the piano. the guitar is a very limited instrument in comparison.

the actual video I'm using of yours to learn, is the 'Complete Song with melody tutorial November 2009'

I use that one because it's slower and I need it slow to learn it, but I wanted to see/hear the altogether finished piece, like you playing it normally to see if I liked it. I stumbled upon this one (sounded like it was the same one only faster, which is what I wanted) That's when I noticed your rhythm, so what do you say in answer to my original question?

when i timed two freddie mercury videos, i found two tempos: 72 (piano) and 76 (band). play it at the tempo you like. there is no rule that we must follow.

@RAVIN0139 start learning? takes about 5 years to get skilled at it. Learning where the notes go on the staff is the first step, similar to first learning the alphabet when you learn English. The rest comes from daily practice, hearing sour notes and correcting them as you play is important.
