What some individuals don't seem to understand here is the basic structure of our free market economy, and how public corporations are set up. Public corporations sell shares to the public to generate capital. They are then beholden to their shareholders to generate a profit. If they don't succeed, their stock drops and shareholders sell out - and the corporation loses capital. Unions are far too costly for corporations; that's why so many have gone overseas. Unions are killing our economy.
