Wow, I can't believe Obama even understood the computer science question! Talk about smart!! They should have the presidential candidates play a round of Jeopardy! or something. I guarantee he would smoke McCain!
BARACK OBAMA IS THE FUTURE. He's intelligent and wise, compassionate and sincere not to mention a very multicultural global citizen! PLEASE VOTE on behalf of a Finn like me too :) I'm his greatest fan and when the America Barack talks about is established I'll be the biggest fan of your country.
It'll be interesting to see the image of America we have here in Europe shift from loathe for the idiot to admiration for the wise man... PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN! I'm tired of loathing your country.
Hey im form UK and i can tell you obama im extremely happy your going into office :) you becoming president jst makes me wanna move to USA becuase atm UK is a waste of time our prime minister is an ass hat
I still can't comprehend how an out of touch idiot like Bush won a 2nd term... Obama is knowledgeable and when he speaks, he sounds real, sincere, and clear. VOTE OBAMA!
WOW, How did we make it to this point without the GREAT OBAMA? A NEW SOCIALIZED AMERICA is the only way. I already sold my SUV and set my thermostat to 68.
I think once we disarm this country the rest of the world will like us again. GO OBAMA!!!
Obama being elected president will be a great moment in US history. I truly hope he wins but i am Hobbsian in my views and fear AMerica will once again fuck this up.
I would wish that all Obama supporters and non-supporters would also listen to "Interview with Shelby Steele on Barack Obama" also on You Tube, very interesting.
I think alot of us Ron Paul Supporters are going for Obama. I know I am, but I honestly wouldn't mind running under Hillary either if she somehow ends winning on the demi side.
Another Great Interview...giving us an indepth understanding of this man and what he stands for.Tho some of the solutions he proposes are not as easily accomplished in the real world. He seems to have a good grasp of whats happening around the world and that is very refreshing given the fact that we have had an Imbecile as the US president for the last 7 years! Hope he wins and Brings America back as a country which can be respected and trusted to lead the world in the future. GO OBAMA GO.
I believe Obama will win the nominee for the democratic party. I have seen the Hillary debates and Obama's debates and it's clear that Obama has a better understanding of what USA needs and how to place the US role to the world.
I watched this talk live via VC at Google. He really seems up to the job and does not evade critical topics. I highly agree with him on most subjects - being a geek, his intention of nominating a CTO for the country is just great :)
I believe this is the sort of president America needs, i strongly think he will clear up the air and change GWB's definition of international relations where America will actually be more liked by the rest of the world. Good Luck!
Bubble sort is a simple sorting algorithm. The algorithm gets its name from the way smaller elements "bubble" to the top of the list. There are other sorts that are usually considerably more efficient.
I pray to God that no one try to assasinate this man. I say this because he is a great man and great caracters such as his often get the ''wrong'' people pissed off.
I can't conceive of a better president and feel so fortunate to whiteness his greatness in my lifetime. I feel as if I'm seeing the beginning of the Camelot age JFK created and to see such a thing happening... That seems so brilliantly surreal that I find I'm regularly pinching myself, expecting to wake up.
As a Republican myself, I can certainly acknowledge this man will be a force to be reckoned with. His policies would be scary, because he is a true believer.
Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Piyush Jindal, Michael Steele, and Tim Pawlenty I think are all potential equals on the right side. Any single one could be the next Ronald Reagan. Could be a very interesting decade in politics because the old guards clearly failed us this past decade and their will be a catharsis in the future.
Why are his answers so drawn out and distracting, over thinking, deliberately slow... like he's attempting to tap a short term memory complex. By the time he answers and finishes his "answer" everyone in the crowd will have forgotten the question.
Because the interview questions themselves sucked. Google should be happy that Obama saved the interview from being a total bore and instead transformed it into an informative event.
Absolutely agree. Republicans are praying that Hillary will win the nomination because they have a lot of ammo with her name on it. Obama has been against the war from the beginning and rates much higher on likeability than Hillary. Barack can grab more Republican and independent votes, he doesn't have a history of flip-flopping, he appeals to younger voters, and he's exciting and inspirational. REPUBLICANS ARE SCARED SHITLESS OF OBAMA!
hummm I am mexican and I think the problem of mexico is mexico itself, its goverment and politician who unfortunately dont understand what a bit and a byte are at all ;) cheers.
The war fever he speaks about in this interview reminds me of one of the main ways the "Party" controls the minds of the people in George Orwell's 1984. Scary, true stuff.
I conclude that either Obama is going to be the nominee of the Democratic Party and the next President of the United States OR the democrats and general US population are largely ignorant - meaning uninformed and lack knowledge of Obama and his world view.
Obama is certainly the best, but we are doing very poor supporting him on internet. Ron Paul, who is much less popular has dominated the majority of internet blogs, internet polls, news, etc.
HELP, HELP.
WE CAN BEAT RON PAUL SUPPORTERS AND MAKE OBAMA THE #1 ON THE INTERNET.
Well then why don't you guys stop talking about it and actually take action and do something, that always works :) Like they say: Actions speak louder than words.
I really think that the Ron Paul movement is a different sort of beast than the Obama movement. Anti-war liberals have their pick of candidates but where else do anti-war conservatives have to go but to align themselves with Rep. Paul? Thus, Paul attracts a wide variety of people on the right who for whatever reason (isolationism, idealism, libertarianism, what have you) oppose the war but refuse to support the Left, and would rather reform the Right.
absolutely true, and I respect your point. though I believe Obama is just a softcore ron paul, the pointe destinction between them is that ron paul wants to conserve and isolate every aspect of the runnings of america, obama want's america to move into a smarter and less corupt direction, making his actions more thoughtful and more permanent than a "quick fix"
In many ways Obama's movement is similar in that he intends to not only reform the Left but also win the election and come together with the Right. Barack needs to be portrayed the right way: as the candidate that appeals to the widest group of people and is the least likely to divide people politically. Don't just use an overly simplistic term like "electable," like the Hillary camp is doing.
He nailed every answer with honesty, showcased his depth of knowledge and understanding on complex issues. He truly wants to enable us better educated and move forward to live better lives. This is one of the best interviews yet.
This session is so complete and concise, it could be divided up, as the separate answers, into an interactive "ask barack about the issues" widget, some sort of specific link that could be sent to people on the fence, those without patience to watch the whole thing... It sure would make my job easier, as I try to canvass...
I have not seen ever someone can answer questions such deeply and precisely. His answers, not only shows his positions, it shows his knowledge, judgment, precision, and honesty.
Of course America deserves Obama. But that is contingent on Americans making the first step to believe. Believe not just in him to bring about change but also believe in ourselves that we can make a little effort in inspiring many others who are misinformed and disillusioned, we can do something improving the lives of others people.

He is FRC (Foreign Relations Committee) from US senate.
He is willing to let states hand out drivers licenses do undocumented workers if comprehensive immigration reform fails.
Illeagal aliens do not come into the US to drive cars, they come to work here. Employers attracting and employing illeagals should be punished!
