Secondly, the people who trade in tiger products need to have an alternate source of income found for them to give them the means to survive without the need to illegally poach tigers.

Of course it's cruel and barbaric........but until Governments enforce a crackdown on the illegal trade of animals for 'medecine' and other products nothing will change. In developing countries with high levels of poverty amongst the populus this horrific trade just isn't a priority. It will only change if the people of developed countries put pressure on their governements to heap pressure and deliver incentives to stop the trade.

That is so sad....Tigers are endangered and people are killing them for "medicine". I heard that this tiger medicine stuff never even works. I never heard of tiger bones or whiskers doing anything to the health of people. (except perhaps excessive coughing and choking if the bones were swallowed)
