@pythoniac, i know, you're right, but i hope that searchers on Youtube embark on this song whilst looking for REM of Michael Stipe. Although Vic Chesnutt was a great singer-songwriter, Michael Stipe is more famous. The billing wrong but the result hopefully more listeners to this haunting song.

You got the billing the wrong way round. It's Vic's song and Michael sings very discreet harmony. One of his finest, too. Makes it perfectly clear why he is such a loss.
