i love richard and kahlan.they were the reason i watched the show..but when i saw episode 1x13 i changed my mind lol. Kieran & vivian however wrong their love was it was hot.I felt it and i would die for that kind of love. people talk about the strength to resist how about the strength to embrace love when you find it..anyone can deny themself but to give in i have rarely seen people be that brave. i dont think i could ever be, thats why they are my favorites now. i wish they had their own show

At the very least there has to be a wizard at the beginning, so that a Seeker can be named. The Confessor represents the Mother Confessor, and...reflecting why the Confessors were created in the first place, at least in book canon...counterbalances the power of the wizard.

I love your description of the video. I couldn't agree more. Richard & Kahlan are so selfless, which I suppose makes their love even more beautiful. Because they care for the world around them so much, that It strengthens their own love for each other. :D

That's how the books work. The Confessor's powers don't affect a person if he truly loves the Confessor. I would be really surprised and dissapointed if the show doesn't go the same route. The revelation occurs in the 1st book so I was surprised it didn't happen in the 1st season finale

tho the seris is based on the book, so it dosnt follow the story exactly, but i would also be surprised if it didnt go the same route, since its taking khalans powers drectly from the book, and i am guessing they just havnt shown it yet, after all, theres been no episodes where they truely see what her power does to richard *was vauge to stop spoilers*

@rockxwl I'm less than halfway through the book. I'd say you just spoiled a major part of the book, though I'm not angry, but now I'm really anxious to read that part of the book. Does this mean that at the end of the 1st book or beginning of the 2nd they get married? And considering they didn't but it in the season finale I'm guessing that either they'll give another means for R&K to be together in the show or someone else will reveal that rule.

I believe that Kieran and Viviane truly loved each other, and that Kieran wasn't confessed when they did the deed in the dirt.

This, along with "Denna", I think is hinting at the resolution of Richard's and Kahlan's dilemma.

That's what I thought too. In "Denna" there was one of the town's people, too, who stayed with the other Confessor and wanted to help save Richard even after she died and supposedly he was "cured". So I think they are going that route that if someone is truly in love with a Confessor he can't be confessed, since he kinda already is. At least I hope that's where they are going.

Great vid!! I think Kieran and Vivian had a selfless love and I don't think he was confessed because he continued to love her even after she died. It was his anger towards what Amfortas did that killed him in the end. In the books, the sword of truth feeds on anger, that's what happened to Kieran. I loved this episode!

I didn't like Kieran and Vivian, they pizzed me off. i love how Craig and Briget brought them to life, but as characters, I understood them but I hated that they took over Richard and Kahlans' body.

your right on from your txt in info box... their love is SELFLESS... that is WHY Kahlan and Richard get to be together with out fear of a confesser's touch.

where as Kiren and Viv's love was selfish and tis be why he was confessed.

unconditional love + Selflessness = Love for all Eternity w/o Confessor's Touch/ Magic being effected upon Richard.
