I would of never thought a DIN-sized car stereo could receive beacons? And how are you getting beacons anyway? Don't you have to put it on Single SideBand? I *do* have a beacon at 390 kHz in my area that comes in on plain old AM mode on my Grundig G5. Mabye it's a DSB beacon.
