  • anterior wall infarction??

  • No, what I mean is, that sometimes we have patients with ST depressions, that usually end up i n Myocardial Ischemia or blockage/lack of oxygen to the heart. But I'm not sure since I'm not a cardiologist.

  • is this dangerous? is myocardial ischemia something to worry about?

  • @Mathos1 ST depresstion is a heart attack.

  • @Mathos1 i mean the ST elevation is a heart attack

  • @Mathos1 i mean ST Elevation

  • nice music for such a er.... not so nice heart rhythm...

  • st elevation is indicative of necrosis, or (death of the miocardial tissue) AKA an Infarct.. or yes, in lay terms a heart attack

  • where can I get the full song?

  • elevation...? ... its like an angina pectoris...its a negativ ST

  • and what is the meaning of ST elevation?

  • @crist1819 SCACEST

  • @crist1819 ST elevation is a heart attack.

  • Peaked T waves (more than 2/3 the height of the R wave) may be seen in the early stages of AMI. Within a short time the T waves will invert. A flat ST depression segment results from subendocardial infarction or digitalis. ST elevation is the earliest reliable sign that MI has occurred (STEMI). It is also seen in ventricular hypertrophy and pericarditis. Pericarditis yields a ST elevated segment that is flat or concave, the latter gradually angling back down to the next QRS.

  • this's just ischemia

    MI > ST elevation

  • You cannot tell elevation or depression in 1 single lead.

  • ST depression can mean Ischemia

  • What is significance of ST depresssion? does it means there is MI going on?
