hey dude that was an awesome demonstration. I have an incredible as well and i use voice commands to use the navigation in my car. Its much easier.
Also I am thinking of rooting my phone, can you give me a little bit more information about it. My phone has been running very sloppy lately, I was thinking of rooting to make it a bit more snappier. Is rooting for me?
@darewinder Before I tell you about rooting, let me lay the disclaimer on you: anything you do to your phone is not my fault. Rooting will void the warranty and may brick your phone.
Now that that's out of the way, rooting is extremely easy. Just type "unrevoked" into the search bar and click on the first result. Once you're on unrevoked's site, click on the droid incredible, and I'd go with unrevoked3. unrevoked forever is a little more complicated.
your demo looked great, but on my android (samsung fascinate v2.2) the voice commands were much less effective. I did a diner search, and it recognized the voice fine, but did not search for places to eat near me, just did a bing search with no useful results.
Using the call feature was even worse, it just tried to do a bing search again, instead of attempting to find contacts that matched
@wneb1981 I'm not sure why Samsung decided to "bing up" some of their phones...a bad move in my opinion. You can always root your phone to circumvent it if you're willing to take the risk (it's not hard). Android Central has a decent article about it.
Thanks for posting this vid. I'm a Droid noob and this helped.....

@wneb1981 I'd say the common factor in those issues would be Bing?
