Asus N55SF gameplay TDU 2

@fadifoegana hi on my asus n55sf the game doesn't run smoothly it get's lag. maybe it's the intel integrated graphics card? please help

@razaeltuga Go to youre desktop > right click on Nvidia configuration > Look at the 3D configutaion. > there you can choose youre Powerfull Nvidia Processor. instead of the intel integrated gpu. ;)

Ik heb hem 1,5 week geleden ook gekocht bij campusshop, helaas voor 880, maargoed.. daar ga ik niet zo moeilijk over doen. Is het een goede keuze geweest voor mij, ik hoop het.

Helaas wacht ik al 1 week op de laptop ... en is campusshop sloom ;p

This laptop uses nvidia 555M. Is that better than 540M?

And can it run battlefield 3 on high?

@Xodia91 555M is the strongest GPU in the 500M series of Nvidia Geforce, so yeah, its beter than the 540M

@DarkKnight896 I meant GT 500 M series ( middle class GPU for laptops). Those you've mentioned are GTX 500 series and high-end GPU's.

@buzz9961 Your question is very general. You should be more specific. For gamming I recommend G series from ASUS and XPS series from Dell.

I would say that this (ASUS N55) is intended to be multimedia laptop with general use (internet, work, video... more or less for everything - desktop replacement), not for pure gamming.

Previous version (N53) can run it in everything on max (exception is physix set to medium) at resolution 1366x768. With FRAPS 30fps, without 45+.

Please note that this is NOT a gamming laptop.

If I were you, I would pick ASUS G series with i5 CPU and nVidia 560 (or higher).

You don't need 4 cores for gamming since most games use only 2 (if by any chance some game come out which requires 4 cores, you can enable Hyperthreading).

Nice video, is this the N55SF with a i7 and gt555m graphic card? Becomes the computer warm when you are playin Testdrive at very high graphics? Does the computer get warm at all, or is it alway cold? Does the fan make much noise?

@fadifoegana Ik heb net op die site gekeken, ook voor deze laptop. Helaas staat mijn school er niet tussen, komt waarschijnlijk omdat ze een deal hebben gesloten met Xando Zwolle... Macs only dus. Wel jammer. Nja veel plezier nog met je laptop!
