how does this idea translate with microorganisms. I ferment alot of things... tons of things... oatmeal, kefir, kraut, ramen noodles, beans, refried beans. If my ferment was infected by a GMO, which microorganism would win out?

@Subspace4d Yea this is supposed to happen in the DNA though, and machines dont have DNA. But then an example of ensoulment would be childbirth.. You need an appropriate 'container' for the soul for it to embed itself properly. Either that or there would be a lot of spanners and tools with souls.
