Can you explain why your opted for floral foam instead of the extruded styrofoam (which you're more famous for :))?
I bought a few blocks of floral foam at Michael's a couple years ago but other people keep telling me it's too messy, and doesn't hold to paint very well (hope you can prove them wrong!)
I read about using florist foam in N Scale magazine and thought I'd give it a try. In addition for th smaller scenes I'm using it for I didn't want to have to buy another 4 X 8 sheet of pink extruded foam. I'm not to sure what these other people mean by "I doesn't hold Paint well". It seems to hold paint fine. If they mean that florist foam is a more fragile than extruded foam then that is correct plus it is a bit messier (in it's own way)
The buzz comes from the little motor in the video camera turning the tape. My camera has the same thing. Unless he upgrades to a flash memory camera, you're gonna have to deal with it! :)
That's cool! It would have look like a cool scene if all you had done was pour the "reallistic water" . What I mean is, it would look like they had put the track on slabs of rock. But this way is also cool. Now you got me thinking that I need to use green foam on the scenery.
Though I'm not 100% sure myself, Insulfrog turnouts only direct the electrical current to whichever rails that the switch is set to where electrofrog turnouts sends current to both rails. So while both can be used in DC or DCC, the electrofrog turnouts should be rail-gapped on DC layouts if you have different power districts.
hey THEBIGE61 where did you buy that foam at, and how much money did you spend on it?????

@trainbuilr It's a 2 inches thick, ift wide and three ft long. It was about 12 bucks a hobby lobby.

The buzz is probably from the fluorescent lights.

Can you explain to me how to wire Electrofrog points? I have asked a few people but i have no idea... Also, do they work for DC layouts?
