The Apollo 1 crew died because of the fact that the ECS (environmental control system) of the Command Module was generating a 100% oxygen environment during the pre launch phase and because of the slow side hatch egress procedure at that time. It was an engineering issue.
A 100% oxygen environment is nothing unsual by the way, especially not in space suits still today. It enables a lower pressure and lightens the used structure and materials.
NASA today just has completed its 126th Space Shuttle mission successfully. All in all, NASA has send about 1000 humans into space until today (7 to 8 already on each Space Shuttle mission). Together with Roscosmos, ESA and other space agencies, we have build the largest artifical object in low earth orbit, the ISS, which is the permanent home for three astronauts and soon for 6 astronauts.
The current progress in space is way more challanging and complicated than Apollo was.
There is nothing to make go away what you and a few others believe is a hoax . There is no debate within the scientific and engineering community because manned space flight is a scientific and historic fact. The progress continues regardless how many ignorant people across the web and in front of FOX TV do exist. There'll always be less educated people.

The video evidence shows it was faked. The reason they had to fake it was probably space radiation. This is really just for the viewers--look at the info on space radiation in the link I posted.
Otherwise it would hang, because there is still 1/6 gravity left on the lunar surface and of course no atmospheric effects. The falg had to be twirled into the surface to be able to stand and not to fall over. That movement caused the pole (flag) to wave. The movement slows down only slowly because of the missing atmosphere. It takes almost as twice as long as it would on Earth. You can notice similar effects of some equipment during EVA's outside the ISS and Space Shuttle.
PS: we even joke on those flag questions in the way like the guys just have used some wind effects to not let look the flag too static, but they just forgot that the truth of the hoax will out due to the waving flag.

I feel sorry for those people who seem to get stuck in the middle ages and don't arrive in the reality.
