Well, I see my previous reply to Nico35 was deleted. In it, I took excpetion to his criticism of my comment below, which I find to be a bit petty and defensive. While I understand this channel is a promotional tool for the singer's agent, the fact remains that this repertoire make the singer sound strained. Let the young fellow sing more mainstream stuff and see where it goes. But, for a singer with as many arias on YouTube as this one, comments are expected and they can not all be glowing.

Amazing singing from someone so young. Huge range and power. I love it when people comment about lack of this and lack of that. These things are gained through experience. Like I always say, thats why he is on the stage and you are not.

I am not sure why such kudos in the comments here. He has a very solid voice, but the top notes are actually strained and his variations mean nothing to his character. Speaking of this, his lack of passion and hand gesture acting are sadly obvious. For a tenor who sings other more verismo repertoire, I wish he'd bring a bit of that interpretation to this music. I left wanting for the young Chris Merritt or Michael Cousins... Maybe when he gets to ROH he will have loosened up a bit.

Un chanteur que j'adore, une virtuosité qui m'éblouit toujours, mais une propension à grossir le médium et à forcer le grave qui semble en train d'abîmer sa voix et de mettre en péril l'aigu. Ses moyens et la longueur de sa voix sont exceptionnels, fallait-il pour autant tenter les rôles de baryténors? La partie lente et piano montre sa vraie voix, solaire et lumineuse, celle qu'il n'aurait jamais du abandonner.
