@gomezgomas Spawn was well done to, just more emphases on shooting then fighting, and close combat characters were either limited or over powered. If anything, Anarchy Reigns perfected what spawn started.

Bayonetta would be way too strong in this game, and Sam from Vanquish uses guns and his physical attacks deplete meter so he wouldn't work I think. Looks awesome anywya

I'm digging the character design and it partly reminds me of another older game on the Dreamcast that sweetly held my attention called Heavy Metal: Geomatrix.

If done right, this game could be that cult classic to start the next year off well with some well tuned on the side gaming. However it very much will be hit or miss. The character design however starts off very much on the right foot for just enough balance of cool and outrageous factor that reminds people of the fun games bring beyond RL

damn... i dunno. i was hyped for this, but this looks pretty weak. i'm disappointed the art style isn't at least somewhat similar to madworld. that was what made that game as special as it was, in my opinion. now it just looks like a mediocre beat-em-up... hopefully, as more details emerge (says this game is coming out in january, but i call obvious bs, as we know nothing about it), this will shape up to be something memorable, and not just a tiny bit of cheap thrills.

The game is actually far in development and, I'm guessing, pretty damn close to completion. You should go to the minisite and check out the story trailer. All of the gameplay in these videos is early so you gotta see the new stuff.

And saying "Anarchy Reigns" does not mean that anarchy is the government there. Anarchy is a state of being, not an actual being. It can't govern anything. So it isn't contradicting itself, it's just saying there is no other state of being going on, no ruling at all.
