The main reason I doubt the validity of this is because usually Windows will black out the screen for a second whenever the resolution is changed, yet when he changes the orientation (thus changing the resolution,) no such thing occurs. Windows can't just dynamically change orientation like that, even the tablet addition has the temporary blackout upon changing orientation. One could say that he isn't changing the resolution, but Windows can't fake orientation, it MUST change resolution.

@bistwo47 There are stylus for capacitive screens too. Try it with a small spot of water on a cleenex and don't put your finger on the other side put dry layers in between. That way you can move your cursor even on touchpads. Notice that capacitive screens won't work when too wet.
