@onejayz do u know how fucking fast is a 600awhp evo?... i have a supra at 500rwhp, and no way in hell would i be able to keep up with a 600whp evo from a dig, or a roll...a 600rwhp supra would lose due to traction problems...it doesnt seem this supra was running slicks. the evo should also be far lighter by at least 300 pounds...that makes a big difference of almost .2/.3 seconds..for every 100 pounds usually equals a .1 sec on the track. so this video is very accurate.

@paezdanny Sir, the Evolution MR was released in 2005. The main differences are the transmission and suspension. The MR has a 6 speed compared to the GSR's 5 speed (which is rumored to be stronger). The MR's suspension is miles ahead of the GSR's. The Bielstein struts on the MR are valved much better than the pogo sticks on the GSR. I personally own a 2003 GSR.

well you need torque at the rear wheels in order for a car to move, and im talking rwhp to the wheels not at crank and the amount of boost does matter if you know how to drive your own car it should be driven, if you have turbo of course a ricer wouldn't know what brake boosting is. im sure that supra isn't really racing that Evo because i know supras and after 15 years the supra still gets better attention than most new cars and that is a fact. You could never beat a supra from a roll with awd

Who knows, this might have been an AMS Evo! if so, it could beat a 600hp Supra (on pump gas). For an Evo to make this kind of HP it must use race gas C16 or others and stroker motor. A Supra on C16 can make +800hp @ 30psi (stock engine) and that would be all for the EVO. Both cars are sick!

Having the 6 speed in the evo is what gave it the slight advantage it needed to beat the supra in the second race. If it had the steep rpm drop going from 4th to 5th (like the 5 speed evos do), it would have lost too much ground to catch back up to the supra. Interesting.
