i think its completely worng but i cant easily name detailed why its bad...

for the sake of discussion .. why is it wrong do you think? beond the money loss and falshood of the preacher or psychic...

Derren brown seems like the perfect guy to step into the role James Randi has had the past decades. Which is great, because the amazing Randi is not as young and healthy as he used to be and we need a prominent figure like that promoting skepticism and exposing frauds!

Healing Miracles are real..I've seen them first hand. This is a BS vid. All it takes is a simple searching online and in real life. When you actually watch your first miracle happen you won't have to let some skeptic mislead you. Seeing is believing.

It's interesting how Nathan believes in god, and I think this is a pretty awesome experiment. I also believe in god, in a mostly christian way. I just don't believe EVERYTHING the bible says. After all, it was written by a bunch of old men, not Jesus or God. I think it's important for people who believe in any deity to take initiative in their lives and not rely utterly on god. That's just not how it works.

I don't watch this to affirm my lack of belief in any god, I watch it to find out how easy it is to fool people. This gives a bit of background into how some religious sects may have started, and how faith-based institutions can easily support themselves by asking their congregations for money. It's just interesting is all. The fool has said in his heart that there is a God.

@HelloWorld1947 It is obvious that God and Odin and Horus and Vishnu all do not exist, because none of their followers can produce any evidence of them without using the books/scripture that talk about them. By following that logic, I could say that Harry Potter is real because there are books about him, and you cannot say otherwise. Prove his existence to me without using the bible, and we will see. What does being to the bottom of the sea or in the galaxy have to do with this at all? Explain.

I think there is something wrong with the religious institutions and ceremony that people acting in 'good' faith rather than using thought and meditation to set up goals, work out problems and guide your life in interactions with other people in the world. I am not an atheist, I just have no religion and still feel a connection to the universe. Do you understand what I mean?

That is the only way to figure things out for yourself and decide what is right. Critical thought should be practiced by everyone.

I'll apply Occams Razor to your demon experience. The two different scenarios are:

1. God is real and he sends people to hell unless they believe in his reincarnation as Jesus. You were attacked by one of the beings from an evil realm.

2. You experienced a temporary psychosis.

Of the two, scenario 2 is more likely as it makes less assumptions about the known world.
