  • yeah!!!!, it's realy anwesome, the God's presence, congratulations from Mexico City God Bless You

  • SWEET!!!

  • All I can say is JESUS,JESUS,JESUS!!! What annointed talent and praise!!!

  • @chishe1 I agree with you 100%. There tons of excuses for dressing and being casual in Gods house but we don't mind dressing for work. If we want a job we BETTER follow the dress code. Most churches have slipped off the right path. It seems like when the dress code was strick, churches were full. Look at Apostolics in the 70s & 80s. No makeup, longer dresses, heads covered and no one had a problem with it. I could go on and on...

  • Now, if that don't set you on fire, your wood is wet!!

  • The first time I saw and heard this...I cried. The Anointing...Wow. But most of all, the Blood will never, never, ever lose its Power.

  • It's beautiful to see robes, suits and ties and dresses. This looks like real church. Which Metropolitan Baptist Church is this? What happened to this type of service? I don't see halter tops, blue jeans, tennis shoes, etc. Yes, come as you are. Ask yourself the question. Am i giving God my best? We dress better for work (uniforms, etc.) than we do for church. WHY?

  • @chishe1 The reason for this is because it draws the younger crowds into the church. No one should have to feel distanced from God nor JUDGED just because of the clothes they have on their backs. Think about that...

  • Amazing.......................

  • All I can say is "My Lord, My Lord, My Lord". I couldn't stop the tears from coming or my hands from clapping.

  • I really needed to hear that song. I have 2 blieve that his blood gives me strenght

  • God is better to me than I've been to myself. Dark times reach all of us in life. But it is through the darkness that light shines its brightest. The storm did not come to destroy me but to complete my transformation. This was a beautiful, beautiful rendition of my favorite childhood gospel song. Keep praising, keep strong, and keep believing because we serve a mighty God and nothing is outside His reach.

  • For me many years ago,it was the music or should I say His Holy Ghost in the music ,that initially drew me to Him.............keep playing His music.thank you Lord and thank you metro. Baptist Church

Reach out to your family, friends, coworkers, and even your enemies because the Blood will NEVER lose it's power! AMEN and Hallelujah!

  • Nice, I did not like that fact that they drowned Richard out at the end.

  • Richard Smallwood... I love him

  • He reminds me so much of my father and how he used to play! This was AWESOME!!

  • If you can't get to church when you should because of some excuse etc, watch this video clip. It will either fix you up and revive you back to health or it will leave you running back to church to see if it is real. This performance is not a performance but a sermon all by itself. Preachers of the Word, sit back and listen, engage you soul in the message and be ye lifted up. Praise God from Whom all Blessings like this message in the music flow!

  • That saxophone playing gave me the chills and I can listen to Richard play all day long. Praise Yahweh!!!

  • Probably the most anointed rendering I have heard in a very long time. The Spirit always answers when we sing about the blood! Such a shame that the sound and picture lose synchronization, but 'Thank you Lord'! It will never lose its power.

  • Wow everytime I listen 2 this song it does something 2 me!!! 2 save a ole sinner like me!!! Oh the Blood!!!

  • Is that Richard Smallwood on the keys???

  • God has been so good,,,,,let he who loves Him Say So !

  • @VincenzoPickatelli

He has been good to me!!!! I retire off of my job of 23 years in 1 year and 10 months or so. I have no degree but God answered my prayer in 1989, to let me get a job that I would not get laid off, or fired from. My retirement monthly will be approximately $2700.00 a month for the rest of my life. I just thank him so very, very much for having mercy on me, and allowing me to endure on this job until the end. It has not been easy, but I thank him never the less!!!!

  • @determination9995757 hallelujah!

  • @VincenzoPickatelli And let she who loves Him, LIVE so. :D

  • @VincenzoPickatelli ..... AND IS ALWAYS GOOD

  • The incomparable Richard Smallwood playing that piano!!!

  • To God be the glory! The blood will never lose its power! Father God I thank you for your Son Christ Jesus my Lord and Saviour and for the sweet communion of your Holy Spirit!

Thank you for sharing this video!

  • I sat here and watched what I thought was just an Instrumental of an Old Hymn I loved. But as the Video progressed I began to sense the Anointing Of God to fall, not only those in this Service, but began to flow all over me!! A powerful sense of God's presence flooded my room...causing me to begin worshipping. I had an awareness, i was among others of the Unseen of Heavenly Hosts ...Worshiping God as well. Oh, when two or three get together and begin worshipping...something will happen...

  • LOL at the piano player breakin out this classic move @ 7:21. Awesome! Good job, Bro. Ledbetter.

  • One of my favorite hymns.....loved the way the music came together....thought the sax was too over-bearing! Competing with the piano, instead of complimenting it. Man's sinful nature.....the guy couldn't restrain himself. Let us pray............!

Shout Out to Home Girl and Sister, Gwendolyn Lewis for starting me off with this foot tapping, hand clapping, Hallelujah shouting, familiar from my childhood, Praise His Holy Name, morning celebraon of Life! Glory! Glory! Glory!!!

  • ITS ALL IN HE BLOOD

  • This rendition can make a soul take flight, I'm telling you! I am so grateful that Jesus considered me while He hung on that cross, for truly - His blood reaches to the highest mountains - and it flows to the lowerst valley. "The blood that gives me strength from day to day, it will NEVER lose it's power!" Hallelujah! I thank Him for that power and that priviledge. Bless His name.

  • Lovely!

  • Someone put that it is difficult to understand that it is often not about Scripture or the Lord but about the performer. I am not here to argue. I do not argue God's way. I want to make a point. God does not care about performers. It is always about the Scripture. It was the "Scripture" who shed His blood. That blood gives me strength and it shall NEVER lose its power. Oh bless His name. I feel like preaching. The instruments are just "items" to let God hear the gifts he has given.

  • Who is the sax player? He is very blessed, God is definitely being glorified with this song. God bless you all and keep up the ministry.

  • I love the piano solo. The sax solo is a bit imposing, seeming to step on the piano solo, but even so it is done well.

I wish there were more modern Gospel music in this vein. Much of what is on the radio today seems to pander to the whims of the performers and not to the listener or to the Lord. It is complex and difficult to understand. It is often not about Scripture or the Lord, but about the performer.

  • The Blood will never lose its power. I love these songs. I was raised with songs that "stick to the bones". When I saw this video, I could not help but shed tears. Jesus has done so much for me. I cannot and will not turn my back on God. Denomination does not matter. It is all about praising the name of Jesus and knowing who He is. Also, know that the blood He shed was for you and me. God bless everyone. Keep posting.

  • This is my favorite song in that hymnal. It is song #97.

  • That old red hymn book has some of the most powerful songs in the Christian faith. People forget sometimes the simplest song can save souls. You can't play this song without at least one person singing it. Great job by a great legend.

  • As a bonafide Baptist, raised Methodist and turned Holiness (by way of life) I'll forever stand on the fact that its ALL ABOUT HYMN!!!

  • That was beautiful! : )

  • THis song has such value all on its own!!! it sets the atmosphere for weeks!!

  • Spectacular!!!!!! Simply Spectacular and a PRAISE TO THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!!!!!! THANK YOU FATHER!!!!!! IN JESUS NAME HALLELLUJAH!!!!!!!!!

  • Hallellujah!!!! Thank you Jesus, Thank ya, Thank ya, for your blood Jesus, Thank you that it reaches to the lowest valley, and the highest mountain, Thank you Jesus!!!!

  • That was absolutely insane! Richard Smallwood will live on forever past his time with musicians!!!

  • This brought tears to my eyes. I had to stop what I was doing! I pray all of these musicians are still serving the Lord because this truly blessed me!!! HALLELUJAH!!!! I'm gon be shouting up in here after I play the Clark Sisters Hallelujah with Twinky on dat organ.

  • Damn! This was phenomenal! I never thought I’d like Christian music this much, piano was just amazing.

  • the master!

  • God def blessed them with these ministries

  • God def blessed them with these ministries

  • THAT MAN CAN DAT PIANO TALK

  • It was EXTREMELY rude for the other musicians to come in and drown him out! I was really enjoying the pianists' rendition of this song.

  • Praise the Lord Richard! Your ministry has blessed me for many years.

as I watch this video I am reminded of how the Lord has blessed me to know so many of God's chosen and anointed musicians. I thank God for your gift and for your willlingness to share it so freely.

  • HALLELUJAH... brought tears to my eyes!

  • man , you go ahead and play it. Your doing well, can have church just listening to you play.

  • I am looking for this hymn sung by Candi Staton. I remember listening to her singing it way back when I was a teenager. I can't find her singing it on here anywhere. If anyone can let me know where I can find it I would appreciate it. Thanks.

  • My cousin was strolling around you tube and found a song that described perfectly what was in her heart. She listened to it umpteen times as the Holy Spirit ministered to her. The song was a hymn written in the 17th centuary. 300 years later that hymn was used to awaken a cold heart. That is the power of a song penned by a man but written by the Holy Ghost. It is timeless because He is timeless.

  • Praise Jesus!!!! The ONLY way to Heaven. Our Master has made a way for us to live in forgiveness and we must accept that sacrifice! Pray for the unbelievers in your life.

  • Thank God for the Blood and his son Jesus.

  • This really ministered to my spirit. I remember my pastor singing this in my younger days. As he is deceased now, As I listened it brought tears to eyes because I was reminded of the assurance of the Blood of Jesus. Thank You for posting!!!
