  • Maaan, i went crazy just to find this song on a few karaoke CDs my uncle made for me. And then to read its summary...this has to be one my long time favorites

  • Great movie.

  • Can't wait for the Blu-ray.

  • Thanks more StephenChow for this MV ^ ^

  • Please, someone can help me to have the lyrics in english of this great song? :(

  • Great song and movie!

  • What is the name of the song they play trying a sound cable? "shi shieeee"

  • anyone have this on mp3? please:)

  • IA 1 is the best.

  • U crazy no.3 save teh films omg three was so good no.2 drag on and didnt make sense 1 and 3 are too good.

  • @adsasfd

IA 3 was weak and confusing ...first two way better.

u may need to rewatch them and pay attention.

  • this music is awsome !!!!!!!!

can you send it to me please

  • Asian Movies should NEVER be remade. The remakes always suck and American Directors completely destroy the story!

  • @TrgdyAnn so as foreign movies? :)

  • @TrgdyAnn

the grudge wasn't bad....just the sequels that sucked!

  • @TrgdyAnn

as much as i prefer this to the Departed, it depends whose doing the remake; Fistful of Dollars was a remake of Kurosawa's Yojimbo, Magnificent Seven was a great remake of Seven Samurai Reservoir Dogs was a great re-telling of Ringo Lam's City on Fire and Rashomon provided the basis and structure for films like The Usual Suspects and The Inside Man. TD was well directed and acted, just that William Monahan is a terrible screenwriter who did a hack-job of the screenplay.

  • @MunnabhaiBluffmaster I know that sometimes a generation may want 2 re-do a klassic to be adapted to their generation, BUT I think it would be better if they try and do something original 2 represent their time!

  • Maybe they should have called The Departed 'No Way Out' or 'The One-Way Path'.

  • oh god. this song made me cry. what's it called in english? i want to get it. thanks for posting it.

  • The Departed = Infernal Affair NOTHING is similar in style, directing, cinematography, writing, acting, except the basic storyline. Stop whining that the film got remade if you only like one then you like one. You don't have to got around saying INFERNAL AFFAIRS IS AMAZING THE DEPARTED SUCKS! When clearly that has been stated on every single video that has to do with Infernal Affairs. The whole argument is getting annoying, both are great movies.

  • Infernal Affaire 1 and 2 are really great but the 3 is so bad... Just like The Godfather.

  • Mo Gan Do > Departed

  • @angryaznman damn right

  • In my opinion I like Trilogy Infernal Affairs (HK version) than DEPARTED (USA version) because the actors show in good feeling than remake by DEPARTED. [actually I like the both super star Andy Lau Tak-Wah and Tony Leung :P ]

  • The only thing better about the departed(in my opinion) is the mob boss. Jack Nicholson was more bad ass than the guy in this movie. Other than that Infernal Affairs is OVER 9000!!! TIMES BETTER(exaggeration by the way I use that alot). But seriously what infernal affairs has that the departed doesn't have it's "a heart." This movie actually made you feel for the characters and had an emotional depth.

  • HK movie is #1!!!

  • "The Departed" was a mediocre American remake of this trilogy at best. Personally I found "The Departed" a flim dumbed down for the masses.

  • great flick; saw Departed first ;Scorsese didn't change much.

  • great movie, gonna watch the other two sequels soon+the departed just to compare

  • love this movie!

  • a work of art.

  • I preferred IA to TD, but I thought Martin Scorsese did a good job bringing it to a American audience via the mafia context.

IA 1 still the best ever. The ending of the third made me tear. Karma is a big factor in IA but not so much in TD

  • i think martin scorsese did a good job on the departed

his style is more raw and wild and very different from the orignal ( except for the plot)

i think both movies are good in their own ways

but of course i still favor infernal affairs more

and you guys should stop saying Martin Scorsese stole our idea, he paid royalty or bought the plot, only unfair thing he did is he combined all three series into one

but he only paid the bills for infernal 1

  • One of the best foreign films I have ever seen. The Hollyweird remake was terrible. The atmosphere and the performances are excellent in the original, also there is no stupid love triangle. I can't believe Scorsese fucked up such a great story. Still, the original kicks ass, so nothing is broken for me.

  • can someone send me this song?

  • blogspot can help u bro

  • best movie ever!

  • This a great movie. Tony Leung is prolly the greatest actor ever and Andy Lau is also great. Amazing movie with great directing, good story, the music is also great (not just the song the score too), great photo but most of all amazing acting by all actors. It won 7 prizes @ the hong kong film festival including film, actor(Leung) supporting actor(Anthony Wong) directing(Andrew Lau&Alan Mak) and song. It's absofuckinglutley an awesome film but the best ever chinese film is Wong Kar-Wai's 2046!!!

  • i agree with 92Laguna the first is the best

  • Great Movie

  • IA was most definitely better. Being a trilogy it was able to make the story deeper and give better character development to the characters. In the end I cared about all the characters, which makes the ending so much sadder.

  • so true!! at first i was realy shocked that there will be infernal affairs 2 and 3, coz what would ever top up the first one.. after watching the third one i was speachless.. it was definately one of the best movies.. IA gives the point of view from every angle, and it also as you said makes the ending so sad..i love the characters especially ah yan so much..

  • The first Infernal Affairs is the BEST!!!!!! It's the best non martial arts chinese movie I've ever seen Hell it's the only non martial arts chinese movie I've ever seen.

The departed is good too. However it's not as good as the original Infernal affairs.

However I like the departed better than Infernal Affairs 2 and 3.

  • i wouldnt mind watching this movie... but i want english sub on it xD

  • Anyone know the name of the song? thanks.

  • anyone?

  • Comment removed

  • lol the name is "Infernal Affairs". 80% correct.

  • you have to watch infernal affairs, ohh, this movie is so good :D but infernal affairs 2 is not so good...

  • wat is the movie about ?

  • A mole vs a undercover-cop

  • wat is a mole ?

  • IA is about a police officer undercover within the Triad gang, and a Triad gang member undercover within the police unit.

    their destinies become linked.

  • LOL havent u ever watched the tv show the mole?

  • Yep 'Infernal Affairs' is sooooo much better than 'The Departed'! IA is so much more slick and TD is just boring to the extreme.

  • @AClassFighter Boring? The Departed? The Departed is an actual thriller, Infernal Affairs is a melodramatic soap opera

  • @AClassFighter

    @sofabed

    I agree!! Too much better.

  • edison is so gorgeous. he and andy looks ao much alike.

  • good song :)

  • can sumone send this song to me???

    xxdarkdnangelxx@hotmail(dot)com

  • Do you still need it?

  • Do you still need the song?

  • i dont mind i getting this song if u got the mp3 so i can play it on window media player

  • edison chan hahahahhaha

  • Tony leung is so cool. And the old anthony guy can act well

  • )__(

  • to me, both the departed and infernal affairs r great. we shouldn't do the comparison coz the directors have different style in making these movies. but i'll alwayz remember the character named "soh keong" in infernal affairs, haha

  • The Departed did not do this movie justice...Andy and Tony, total hotties...Edison and Shawn, total hotties...they have the greatest cast, Andy is such a good bad guy...and they picked the right guys to play their younger counterparts

  • I love this movie

  • As for this movie, a script is splendid.

Teaching of the Chinese Buddhism is taken in in the story of the Chinese Mafia.

Andy Lau and Tony Leung are cool!!!

It is the best in the Hong Kong flick which I watched so far.

  • (無間道) - Theatrical trailer

  • The departed though a good film in its own right, was not really able to capture the essence of "infernal affairs". Of the 3 IA films, none beats the first one.

One of my most favorite HK films

  • I might be able to place English subtitles on this music video, If I can find a way to use a computer program to translate these Chinese characters accurately based on their connotations.

  • this is the most intelligent and brilliant hk film i ever watched..can somebody upload this music video with english sub..tq

  • 人生多麼好

  • What made IA better than the departed is that departed didn't have Matt Damon and Leo sing the themesong haha

  • I love this film. it's way better than the hollywood one.The scene, costume, acting, everything is better.

  • eeeh wat u talking about? andy is matt damon and tony leung is leo....and by the way, departed was pretty cool but that movie would never reach IA's level so and by the way, matt damon in the departed was also confused and tried to be a good guy, at last he promised his wife everything will be good and that he'd stop lying and tell everyones truth!

I like both movies, but IA is just better not just coz of the III parts but its also fulfilled with load of emotions!

  • hollywood is always about violence only..they say that andy is not as good as leo in terms of display of anger.. but.. .. andy is not acting as a violent man, he is confused as he wants to be good but he knows that he can't turn back now

  • Good video nice view of hk.. DEparted was crap it didnt have that specialness about it.

  • tony is soooooo cuuttttteeeeee

  • Well, talk about the character. Ming Yan even sacrificed his first love for the mission, how painful!

  • IA is definitely better than than the departed. it's leaner and meaner and feels less "hollywood" for want of a better term. and that bloody ending in the departed, please!! totally unnecessary - feels like it was just tacked on to give those in the audience the happy ending that the studio thought they wanted. if you haven't seen IA or if you've just seen the departed, do yourself a favour and see the original IA (forget the sequels).

  • I just think it's sad that Scorcese only gets recognition for a remake. He's directed so many great films it's almost a sick joke that he only gets his oscar for a film which isn't even his.

  • I agree

  • They acquired rights for the movie, so they're allowed to use the story. How can you say they're copying when they're supposed to?

The Departed is a great movie, and so is IA.

  • first off, the studio in hong kong was nice enough to lend the story to hollywood and hollywood repay back by making the chinese look like assholes whose planning to start a war with america.

  • I'm sorry but the departed sucks compared to Infernal Affairs, IA is just genius

  • The DEPARTED is sooooooo bad really. The Hongkong Internal Affaires has reached a much profounder level, that the DEPARTED people will never understand.

  • This is a great film. But "The Departed" is the masterpiece. It's better on all levels. But I do love "Infernal Affairs." I had to see this film 3 times, because I took it back to blockbuster. And now, I'm going to buy it. :)

  • Departed was so crap. The characters lacked depth and were so annoying I hated all of them. In IA you could give sympathise and relate with all the characters. IA was slick

  • Characters are too American, too ignorant and self admired. they lack emotions, they're assholes except, Damon and Leo. Jack is Jack shithole jerking off in a porn theatre. one scene he talks shit about chinese mobsters. I don't like the Departed at all. I only like the story only.

  • I agree, the departed sux XD i don't understand why the hell it got 4 oscars!! they ripped the whole film off from infernal affairs..poor.. very poor..the departed was a freaking waste of my 2 hours..

  • Garr...this is fucking good. The guys are so hot. The best movie!

  • i think ia was much better than the departed, the departed only just remade ia

  • Loved it, I'm trying to look for Infernal Affairs online but can't find it. I've seen the Departed now I want to see this badly. Can anyone help me out?

  • buy the DVD

  • The Departed is a worst movie... Infernal Affairs is the best, and i'm in love with this song that i listen everyday... i love the mv too! tony and andy are really good singers, beautiful voice

  • the song is fcking beautiful

  • ... I really don't wanna see THE DEPARTED ... I said that to ppl that i know since the day i knew that that movie is a 'remake' - sorry, i don't know the correct word ... INFERNAL AFFAIR is really insuperable !!!! ...

  • ... Superrrrrrrr !!!! ... This movie is really superrrrrrrrr !!!! ... Everyone that i know that saw that say the same thing ... The actor are also superrr !!!! ... Bye ... See you ...

  • The departed blows IA out of the water, no contest.

  • great movies! departed was good but nothing like IA

  • i cant believe that The Departed won best pic!

i mean,it wasnt bad bad but...IA is better and deserve such major international recognition too! its sad to see how hollywood dominates over international films like this...

  • not to mention all the tv series they also copy....

  • this is the best video i've ever seen

  • love it.

  • Infernal Affairs much much better. The Buddhism theme and the ending is what really sets the movie apart from the departed. Marty didn't explore anything new.

  • this one is the best. Departed is different. can't compare. American may not understand.

  • IA is the best! American understand nothing about Asian film, they try too hard and continue to make lousy remakes and sequels.

  • The Departed was full of plotholes and lacked the slickness IA had. Scorsese can't tell an emotional and tragic movie for jack.

  • I thought the Departed was pretty good for a US remake of this awesome movie.

  • The Departed was better, end of conversation.

  • i don want to say Departed sucks, I actually liked it, but not nearly as much as Infernal Affairs. But I guess they dont get the whole "culture" behind HK movies.... And I also dont appreciate the fact that they failed to credit Infernal Affairs more, and switched the Thai mobs into Chinese mobs and make them look ridiculously weak, while in Infernal Affairs, the Thai mobs were treated with respect.

  • the departed was good, the only poorly executed part was the ending.

  • Yes! What with the people going down like dominoes at the end! It wasn't a bad film as a whole...

  • I was really dissapointed with the Departed. It had too many unnessesary characters, like mark walbers character, what was the point of his character? The ending was also ridiculouse. Infernal Affairs was awesome, that all I have to say about the movie.

  • dis song is so good!

  • Departed=Crapparted.

  • Defarted :)

  • anyone know where you can get an mp3 of this? the i.a. soundtrack stupidly doesn't include it, or so they say.

  • i have the mp3 for the andy-only version...

  • departed sucks

    infernal affairs is awesome

  • sevenstarfist777 get some taste dumbass

  • ask anyone, infernal is the best stupid use your heaad, departed sucks period.

  • the departed is a piece of shty compare to this.... no doubt about that... i mean like they took the story and try but just failed pretty bad. maybe because i watched it in canto which is what it is suppose to be in...

  • both are good~! but in overall, infernal affairs is better than the departed

honestly i have no offence on languages, races..etc.

i just enjoy the script and the original story mate!

  • Departed sucks cock, its lacks intelligence, thriller, language, and style, especially style, what a waste of time watching the GAY departed. i want my money back (infernal Affairs still rules!)

  • totally agree, the departed and infernal affairs were both pretty good but infernal affairs was just much much much better

  • could someone up infernal affairs subbed?

  • Just in case no one responded to u...i saw Infernal Affairs with ENG SUB in HMV....Infernal Affairs 1 2 and 3...

  • To terry: Way to miss the point, idiot.

  • Most of the people that like internal affairs like it cuz its in their language. subtitle to me suck. besides the departed is in english and has a cast that will blow you away and must I mention the director

  • The only member of the cast that could blow me away in the Departed was DiCaprio.

  • thats not really true. anybody can see the difference between ia and the departed, and scorcese(however you spell it) copied the story from ia

  • i love the infernal affairs trilogy...but i still havent seen the departed..i think it will be good

  • The Departed blew. The first IA had some plot holes but the Departed created even more. The Departed lacked the brilliance, style, emotion, spirtuality, and charasmatic feel IA had. This music vid alone is better than any of the Departed songs.

  • great movie thats why martin scorcese took the idea, the departed shoud've been based on the triads in San Fran, NYC, toronto, etc would've been more interesting

  • The Departed wasn't good. But perhaps it's because I've seen this before and knew everything that was going to happen. INFERNAL AFFAIRS FOREVER. I also do NOT like the humor in The Departed. GREAT VID!

  • yer they remaking itz.erm its called the departed looks pretty mad:)

  • the one they listen to in the music shop is an oldie by veteran singer Cai Qin. I dunno if she has any english name..

i think The Departed sucks. It does not have the subtlety and the depth portrayed in Infernal Affairs. Who on earth can beat Tony Leung in terms of depth?

If you watched Infernal Affairs first, u'll be disappointed by The Departed. But if u're juz after some thrill, then i guess it satisfies that

  • The Departed sucks but I'm not crazy about the song. Infernal Affairs ROCKS!

  • The departed is way better and this song blows

  • you suck

this movie is obviously much better than that poser departed movie and everyone knows it

  • such a good song!!! I love it!!

I love Tony and Andy! <3<3<3<3

What's the name of this song?

  • the movies are excellent. Does anyone no what the other song is called?? the one that they listens 2 in the music shop??? if any1 no's please reply!! x x

  • I love this song! And the movie is amazing!

  • Does anyone know where I can find the translated lyrics for this song? I want to know what they're saying.

  • i have the translated lyrics, leave me a message :)

  • I can't stop watching this video. I'm so glad I'm finally going to see this movie soon. I can't wait. I've only seen Tony Leung in Hard Boiled. He looks so different with long hair. He looks good, though.

  • Which Infernal Affairs was this one from?

  • The first one.

  • The first one.

  • a new hollywood movie is a remake of this one. i feel like de ja vu of the ring. hollywood are digging one asian movie.

  • nice..love tony!!!

  • tony singing and andy .. nice nice

  • I am fans of both of these singers/actors, and this is my favorite movie, so thanks for posting this video :)

  • No,it's a duet.

  • i think its only andy singing

  • actually, they both sing. Tony sings in half beggining and andy sings later. you can tell the diff caus eandy's voice is more vibrato. and they sing together on parts =D

  • I DO have the andy-only version if you want it...

  • I din't know that Tony sings...

  • thank u for sharing this music video. i never knew Tony Leung was a singer also.
