What a talented powerful force he is. There's absolutely no competition with anyone surrounding him. It's obviously known, David Bowie is at the forefront. His talent demands it, though his personality does not. It's a given. What a powerful person!! I just love him.
Yeah, It is Adrian Belew. He was playing lead on that tour, I saw Bowie at the Niagara Falls Convention Center. Bowie had "Blue Jean" out as a single then, and Adrian Belew had "Pretty Pink Rose." with Bowie singing on the song. They played "Pretty Pink Rose' and also "Oh Daddy." And you may not believe this, but the song list was based on calls made by fans in each city. You called a number and picked the songs you wanted to hear and they totaled it up and came up with the list.
ive seen pink floyd queen and other bands live in concert as much i am a fan of them they come nowher near to bowies sound and vision tour an honour and privelege to be there the greatest concert ive ever been to
@dusktwilight7 if I wasn't born in 1987, and therefore didn't have access to the internet then I may not of heard most of Bowies genius works. thanks to being young today I can listen to any classic track from the past 50 years at the touch of a button. I don't think you realise how lucky we are
ive seen many ,many concerts and the show i saw off this 1989 show in toronto has to be the best ive seen and bowies not even my favourite artist,,but him and adrian belew together was a legendary performance
With all due respect, the performance "live by request is better." Note the drummer.

not the best sound and vision rendition, but still love Bowie, its a hard one live, but they had no bass which detracted from the song.

if only I was in my 20's or something in 1990 instead of being BORN then
ugh I swear, I was born at the wrong time
David Bowie always was and always will be uniquely amazing, and far more brilliant than any other

This under-rated Bowie classic is featured on January the 8th in The Song For Today, written by Jimmie Oliver.

Puts... essa música é duka!
Cada versão é uma surpresa, assim como seu compositor. Apesar do Bowie estar meio "desconcertado" no palco.
O legal é que a música tem muitas brechas pra cada músico fazer o que quiser... dá um look no video Sound And Vision (live by request)
