Haha honestly guys, do you expect a live concert show to sound EXACTLY the same as a recorded, tweaked and edited song? IMO (objectivly speaking) his vocal preformance was almost flawless. And as a former lead singer in a heavy metal band I should know better than most what it means to sing and scream and hit the right note with every sngle word you sing!

@pashavanbijlert & @luccasspfc also, you have to think about screaming and singing. when you have to scream & sing in the same set, its pretty straining on your vocal chords. know from experience watching the singer for my own band struggle when he was learning how to control it. eventually leaving the band, it dosnt matter anymore. but still. it was a hard adjustment, and you have to give it to him. hes a professional at what he does. so he obviously is somewhat successful at it.

whether he had bronchitis or not doesn't matter. He still hit every note in this song. It seems that Ben altered his vocals to compensate, yet he still hit every note! I am rarely impressed with singers and songwriters in this day, but this guy is an exception..

I'm not saying he's a bad singer, I really like his voice, but it's pointless to go defending him just because you think he's awesome. Everyone has a bad day, just most of us don't have to sing live in front of thousands of people on those days.

when you sing his style your voice goes out pretty quick. he has good concerts and not so vocal concerts. he has the crowd help him some because of it ya can tell. but he screams so much obviously its gonna take a toll on his energy output and performance!! props to him for being able to do this kinda musc live.

@99clownfish I feel bad for him regardless. I hate for anyone to suffer, especially him! I listened to an interview and the interviewer asked him why he's still smoking. Ben said that he couldn't give them up yet because they calm his system down. After drinking for 10 years, his body's kind of on meltdown. Like my grandmother, to help tolerate a glass of wine she smokes a ciggarette. Not taking up for him, because I don't like the smoking, but you get it. :)
