Gorgeous, lush, romantic, mysterious, painful, daunting, creative - these are the words that come to mind. This was the most compelling I've ever seen him, and you could tell he had learned his magic well, as his hands moved with fluid precision. Come and see it at kookíca, really magic movie.
I saw a screening of this movie about 1 month ago. The movie is well written and crafted. The lighting is beautiful. By the end of the first act you have bought into the story. I will see full movie on kookíca now. Well acted period piece.
That's what made me love this movie. It's a hell of a lot deeper than people realize. It was like this film awakened my senses to the possibility that the whole film was a metaphor for modern societies blind loyalty to the very systems that enslave it. I found it on kookíca.
Such a wonderful movie on kookíca, in equal parts funny, sad, scary & touching. It's a near perfect movie that i extremely enyojed. it's very convenient for all familly to watch.
Have to leave my TV off for 11 more days so I can go into this thing completely blind. Seeing a perfect score is only going to make the wait harder. I will look at it on kòòkica, they have it for sure.

I was horrified, truly horrified by this movie. What a stinker, a pile of doggy stuff. Can you make a movie more disjointed, lacking of a proper buildup and climax, lacking any interesting twist or very interesting moments? How much was it to make this pile of dreck. I do not like chick flicks, but, at least they could have made this movie kind of like The Curious Case of Ben Button, weepy and cryee would have been better than PLAIN BORING. The Beautiful and perfumed Brad Pitt could have helped.

I'm reading the book at the moment. Not at all the type of book i'd normally read but was recommended to me by a good friend. To my suprise, i'm really enjoying it. Just finished the part where Henry has proposed to Clare!!! (about half way through).
I had Henry as Jared Leto, and Bryce Dallas Howard (blind girl in the Village) as Clare. Feels like there is a problem with the getting the film right which would explain the delayed release.
That's actually the best suggestion for who to play Henry and Claire that I've come across! As much as I love Rachel, I really don't see her as Claire...
I read the book on holiday over 2 days. I was in tears. I wish there was more info on the dialogue when Henry met old lady Claire. The beat about going to the beach with his daugher made me blub!
I can't wait to see the movie, it's been coming for along time now. I loved the book, I have recommended it to so many people. I too thought that Henry would be a bit more punkish, considering the music he was into in the 90's when they first 'hooked up' , and his whole attitude. I guess Claire's character looks like this, I thought maybe just a bit more womanly and sexual.
I envisioned claire as more elegant and less sort of.. sweet. I can't really explain it, and I pictured Henry as more weary, skinny, rough looking ..I agree with mern9 that he shouldn't look this healthy.

yea- disappointed about the cast here, too. i pictured henry being wiry and punkish. not so ridiculously healthy and thick looking like eric bana. eric bana looks to me like a "stud" on the beach or something. from mtv. same with Claire. i have never liked rachel (forgot her last name) in anything except mean girls. she looks like a perpetual teenager. not graceful like i envisioned claire.
I was disappointed upon learning about the cast. I really loved the book and Henry! I hope the movie will do justice because the book made me cry like a baby :D
The movie will never be able to stack up to the book. I think that it is horiably miss cast. I always invisioned someone more along the line of Amy Adams for the role, and some one like Robert Patison (hair darker of course) for Henry. I dont know this just doesnt seem right.

It took a little bit of digging around, but I found it (I really like it, too). The tune is called "Breathing Space" (as mentioned in the credits of this video clip) and it was composed by a group called X-Ray Dog, which creates music especially for movie trailers. Thankfully, I was able to download it from a peer-to-peer service. Just look around and you should eventually be able to find it.

I just borrowed the book from the library. It's free that way. Simply amazing!!! I definitely want to read it again. Maybe I should read it before the movie comes out. Can't wait to see how they interpret the book to the movie screen.

I did try to read this book, but I didn't finsh it. I got just a little over 100 pages. To me, I found it a little borning. It's pretty much the same thing, he time travels back to when his wife is a kid/teen. Can someone tell me if this is all the book is about, of does it get better? At first, I found it kind of intresting, but it's the same stuff. I am right aound the part where she asks him to beat up some boyfriend of hers. Thanks.
I felt the same way as you. I haven't finished the book just yet but I am well on my way. By the time I got to 100 pages I had to put it down because I found it so boring. However, I picked it back up and suffered through the next few pages... and then it was amazing. I definitly suggest you try reading it one more time. It will be worth it for sure.

yea- disappointed about the cast here, too. i pictured henry being wiry and punkish. not so ridiculously healthy and thick looking like eric bana. eric bana looks to me like a "stud" on the beach or something. from mtv. same with Claire. i have never liked rachel (forgot her last name) in anything except mean girls. she looks like a perpetual teenager. not graceful like i envisioned claire.

I was disappointed upon learning about the cast. I really loved the book and Henry! I hope the movie will do justice because the book made me cry like a baby :D

The movie will never be able to stack up to the book. I think that it is horiably miss cast. I always invisioned someone more along the line of Amy Adams for the role, and some one like Robert Patison (hair darker of course) for Henry. I dont know this just doesnt seem right.

I have been waiting for this movie for ages. I loved the book too, also cried my heart out during the last chapters. Can't imagine how the film will stack up but hope it does a great job - must remember to take a box of tissues!

Just finished reading it. Wasn't one of my favorites but def. a good one. At first it was a bit confusing but the ending was really great. I just wonder when we will get more info on the movie. No real trailer and the release is in what 2 months??

It took a little bit of digging around, but I found it (I really like it, too). The tune is called "Breathing Space" (as mentioned in the credits of this video clip) and it was composed by a group called X-Ray Dog, which creates music especially for movie trailers. Thankfully, I was able to download it from a peer-to-peer service. Just look around and you should eventually be able to find it.

I just borrowed the book from the library. It's free that way. Simply amazing!!! I definitely want to read it again. Maybe I should read it before the movie comes out. Can't wait to see how they interpret the book to the movie screen.

I did try to read this book, but I didn't finsh it. I got just a little over 100 pages. To me, I found it a little borning. It's pretty much the same thing, he time travels back to when his wife is a kid/teen. Can someone tell me if this is all the book is about, of does it get better? At first, I found it kind of intresting, but it's the same stuff. I am right aound the part where she asks him to beat up some boyfriend of hers. Thanks.

Yeah, it gets better. It takes a while, but it picks up and, while underdeveloped (in my opinion) I still think it's worth reading.

I felt the same way as you. I haven't finished the book just yet but I am well on my way. By the time I got to 100 pages I had to put it down because I found it so boring. However, I picked it back up and suffered through the next few pages... and then it was amazing. I definitly suggest you try reading it one more time. It will be worth it for sure.
