I had a German Shepherd Chow mix for 12 years. She was great. She never played fetch though. She would chase after stuff that I threw and smell it but never bring it back.
I have a dog who is half rottwreiler, a fourth shepherd, and a fourth chow- she loved playing keep away and tug-a-war like that when she was younger, only with rags, ropes, and stuffed animals- never balls.
i have a gernan shepherd chow as well and he alos looks more like a german shepherd 2! SAME with the fur too. ill be making a vid of him when he was a pupp to know. well hes still a pupp hes 8 months old! it will be a pic/video so check it out soon!
I have a German Shepherd/Chow Chow too! But he looks more like a German Shepherd, except for his fur, which is obviously like a Chow Chows (though not quite as long). They're so playful and active =)
Ahhahhaah. My dog is German Shepherd, Chow Chow and Rottweiler. She does the same thing to me when I play fetch with her....she brings back the ball but she never wants me to take it from her....lol.
