  • Japanese people eat steak with soy sauce, Chinese people cook their steak well done with steak sauce, its called different taste and customs the wait is not racist. People who say the waiter is racist please stop living in the hateful world that you live in and go read some books and get educated so you too can understand where the waiter is coming from.

  • People complain about Luger's service, but I always found them excellent. If the waiter meant well, it's uncalled for to call him "racist". Racism is a form of hate. Maybe he was naive or unwise to ask this, but he didn't sound hateful. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

I'm brown, south asian. When I order from halaal carts or an indian/arab restaurant, they assume I want my food "spicy". They mean well, so I'm not offended. Please stop being over-sensitive.

  • I think it is spelled Luger.

  • Blacks pulling the race card, what's new?

  • portion seems huge, going there this weekend, is steak for 2 enough for 3 people?

  • yes that waiter is a racist...He clearly sterotyped the japanese since they are asian he assumes that they want some soy sauce.lol. I would be pissed if some asshole waiter would ask me if i want hot sauce with my fried chicken and some watermelon for dessert or kinchee with my fried chicken when its not a korean bbq place.Clearly your analogy of parmesan cheese is weak and everyone knows that spagetti you eat with parmesian..its not sterotyping

  • Fucking racist you want soy sauce

  • @rdf7777 In Japan people eat steaks with soy sauce so the waiter did his research and learned the custom eating habbits of Japanese when they eat their steaks you retarted fag

  • @aznboi1398 first of all your prolly a white racist and second learn how to spell you moron.lmao "habbits"

  • @rdf7777 first of all learn to read retard cause my name is aznbboi1398. I am Korean and I know many Japanese people who use soy sauce to eat their steaks. I'm not a white racist you stupid retard.

  • @aznboi1398 so that makes you a racist asian boi, against your own race sad

  • @rdf7777 first of all racist against my own race? Im Korean so stfu. Second how am I being racist. Just because I defend the waiter for knowing what Japanese people eat with steak. It's like going up to an American when he is eating french fries if he wants some ketchup. Why not ask the American if he wants malt vinegar like British people eat? It's not racist to ask a race of people if they want something specific. It's not racist to ask Koreans if they want kimchi with steak. fag

  • @aznboi1398 how you gonna defend the racist waiter when he racistly said you want soy sauce to a asian man. Its like sayingblack people are coming to the party make some fried chicken and buy some watermelon cuz black ppl love that food. Your the fag defending a racist asshole

  • @rdf7777 Im defending a racist? lol

I would be happy that someone who is in America asked me if I wanted soy sauce because that means he knows what certain races eat with their food. Asking an Italian if he wants some more parmesan with his pasta is that racist? asking a korean if he wants kimchi with steak since many people in Korea eat kimchi with steak, that isnt racist.

  • @aznboi1398 yes that waiter is a racist...He clearly sterotyped the japanese since they are asian he assumes that they want some soy sauce.lol.

  • @aznboi1398 its like saying your african american you want hot sauce with that.. or watermelon.your such a hater

  • Yea this place is way over priced and over rated. The dry aging and quality of steak is second to none ...... but my steak had terrible off flavors on the outside, i'm guessing from the cooking surface. The rolls and bread served before the meal were cold and over salted, and the butter was straight out of the refrigerator, impossible to spread. The sides were extremely salty, like something you would expect from applebees.

  • only in brooklyn, only in new york

  • it sure is racist! does he ask a Mexican diner, you want salsa?

  • what a fuckn racist, you want soy sauce.lmao

  • Best tasting steak of my life.... $100 for a porterhouse aka Steak for Two

  • "what's so hard about making a raw piece of steak?"

To the farmer who butchers it, it's emotional.

To the store that tries to sell it, it's stressful.

To the man who buys it and eats it fucking raw, KUDOS to you. Raw meat fucking rocks.

    Next?

  • lol

  • what's so hard about making a raw piece of steak?

  • C'mon man, don't you see their technique? They cook it in a pound of butter for 10 seconds, and serve it to you for $80. Please, I can serve myself raw meat and butter at home anytime. lol

  • man zfanek you're such a cool person we always agree on everything!!!

  • Yeah man, that's what I'm here for! And you're not so bad urself! ;-) lol

  • people pay for the quality of beef, not really the cooking technique. it's hand-selected high end prime grade that has been dry aged.

  • You can get "hand selected high end prime grade dry aged" beef in other locations that are more elegant, better looking places, and BETTER staff. The staff is rude... food is not cooked with skill. I give it 2 thumbs down. But that's just my opinion.

  • @zfanek You are correct.

  • you are paying for the atmosphere and the fact that it is very high quality dry aged beef. good luck finding that at costco.

  • For the atmosphere??? I've heard so many negative comments about their crappy tables, and even crappier service with rude waiters. Like I said, this is from restaurant reviews.

  • that's the whole point. they are supposed to be rude.

  • it's not kobe

  • im gonna go to hell, but that was hilarious

  • how was that steak cooked i am going next week and me and the wifey are debating how we want our steak cooked

  • medium rare..........

  • WTF what a racist waiter. i would have been like what did you say waiter, just because im japanese i automatically want soy sauce. fucking idiot.

  • The waiter could call me a cracker ass mother fu!@#$ if he was serving me that good looking of a steak. they broil the steak with melted butter yes ?

  • the waiter is sucka ass lil homie ya smell me

  • Wow, did the waiter really say that? I know the waiters are supposed to be no-nonsense, but borderline racist is something else.

  • @redetrigan oh comon give the guy a break

  • its still red inside..yuk

  • wow that sounded rude

  • @yellowman88 It's not rude. It's just Brooklyn

  • @whb786 Lol so true.

  • actually, from a japanese perspective, steak with soysauce is the best, so while it may sound rude, the waiter might have learned from his prior customers that steak w/ soysauce is simply the best way to eat steak for the japanese

  • im a tuff guy

  • the waiters are notorious for being gruff

  • lol...waiter is a douche

  • That waiter was rude!
