  • Scotch guard might just be water resistant spray for shoes. Just a particular brand, but maybe any will do.

  • scotchguard is a silicon spray used for waterproofing shoes, so any shoe repairer and some shoe stores will stock it. in new zealand its available at Mister Minit stores.if you pause the vid at 1:45 youll see the label -this stuff is actually shoe shield, which does the same thing, or any silicon spray will also work.hope this helps and good luck!!

  • Scotch guard can be purchased at home depot or lowes. I'd want to line that pan with aluminum foil before I went to town with a can of scotch guard though!

    This looks fun. I'll have to make some! It reminds me of the trick where you mix cornstarch and water to make a substance with properties of both a liquid and a solid.

  • k guys.. it doesnt have to be Scotch guard. I have used any shoe pray that is water resistant. And well he said 'bake the same' and baking temperature is 400 so yah.. 400!!!

  • Scotchguard is a chemical watershield that is usually sprayed on tents, jackets or outdoor backpacks to prevent them from getting wet. Thats it. Maybe it even works with other products than the "Scotchguard" from 3M...just use google ;)
