Good speech. As a librarian I find the themes very important. I like one of the messages spoken: it's education, education, education.

The media and grand standing politicians who exploit a tragedy and peoples fears, don't tell you that sex offenders have the LOWEST RECIDIVISM rate of any other criminal, except murderers, either.  Everyone thinks it's high. Disinformation makes people a lot of money, and gets them ratings and votes.

Laws and principles need to be modified when they are not fully meeting their existing goals. This video was an excellent example of this.

Also a great example of how "labeling" can disempower people throughout their lives.

Mass template solutions often never work for all individual situations ... each incident and person really has to be looked at separately before they can be fairly and accurately 'labelled' in our society.
