rico was recently interviewed in a radio station event and he said THE ONLY BAND NOW THAT HE WANTS TO SING THE SONGS HE WROTE IS BAMBOO (maybe because the new rivermaya is messing his songs?)

in 2002 nathan and rico wanted a rivermaya-bamboo tour but liza nakpil the rivermaya manager did not want it and told rico to tell nathan they she will allow only when bamboo is famous. thats why nathan would ask rico for help with rivermaya management but liza kept on being mayabang until bamboo the band did not care anymore. now look where rivermaya is. mula mawala si rico wala na kwenta. yan ang karma ng manager nila.

no bamboo was not born in mindanao. he was born in metro manila and grew up here. he only moved to the states when he was about ten years old and moved back to the phils when he was in high school. the rumor about bamboo-rico rift is also not true. they are friends especially nathan and rico. and all 3 of them are victims of rivermaya management.
