Jose Feliciano - Affirmation (Nujabes/Counting Stars)

Someone suggested that this was the song sampled for Exile's song "Maintain," but I'm not totally sure :/ All I can match is two chords. I've heard this song and another version, but can anyone confirm? This is killing me!

It is a re-recording by Jose Feliciano make in his home-studio in 1996 with his tour-band for some recent CD-compilations

The original "Affirmation" written and recorded by Jose Feliciano (and sampled by Nujabes or covered by Benson) has different arrangement and was released only in a rare RCA Vinyl album printed in 1975 called "Just Wanna Rock'n'Roll". This was/is never released in any CD by Sony-Rca at today.

José Feliciano is the composer of Affirmation released on his LP Just Wanna Rock'n'Roll from 1975, Benson recorded a cover of it later.
