5-في 25 ت1 1969 طلب لبنان من رئيس المصري جمال عبد الناصر التوسط لحل الازمة وتوجه قائد الجيش اللبناني الى القاهرة للقاء ياسر عرفات الذي لم يحضر الا بعد ايام بعدما ان استطاع الفلسطينيون من اسقاط مروحية للجيش اللبناني لانه كان ينتظر انتصارا ما ليكون في موقع تفاوضي اكبر

وكان مؤتمر الفاهرة الذي اجاز للفلسطينيين بالاستمرار بالعمليات الفدائية ضد اسرائيل منطلقن من لبنان بمؤامرة عربية فلسطينية مشتركة على حساب امن واستقرار لبنان

3- نتيجة استقبال الفلسطينيين اللادجئين في لبنان : استمرار العمليات الفدائية ضد اسرائيل المنطلقة من لبنان مغتصبين سيادة لبنان وامنه ودفع لبنان كلفة هذه المواجهة بتدمير الاسرائليين لمطار بيروت الدولي كأول رد على العمليات الفلسطينية المنطلقة من لبنان

4- احتدمت المواجهة بين الجيش اللبناني والفلسطينيين بمحاولة لاجبار الفلسطينيين بعدم الاخلال بأمن لبنان

- تدخلت سوريا فقامت منظمة الصاعقة الفلسطينية التابعة لسوريا بمهاجمة الجيش اللبناني على الحدود السورية اللبنانية
