  • Good one !! thanks for posting this . Cheers ;-))

  • Have done similar distillation in the desert with urin and a plastic bag when our sandrail broke down. Didn't make that much but looks like the same principle. Good stuff babe, keep us informed. Guess you will make out pretty good when the SHTF.

  • @psgamer83 All right let's show a little respect here BOYS!

  • Im absolutely amazed at the knowledge that comes naturally to you - your a great teacher and seem to be a wonderfull well rounded woman that the community can respect and honor! Well done girl:) Keep the great vids come'n - each one is better than the last:) Peace and may YHWH/YESHUA bless you and your family

  • @houseoffire72 thank you :)

  • @MayeuxMinistries Your very welcome:)

  • easily to remember how to purify the water, i mean, your method is really help me :) thanks for that great stuff!

  • You're real pretty! And smart too! :D

  • No ring...wow, you'd be a great catch!

  • Thanks, Great Video!

  • Based on what you have shown us, I can see that this technique could be easily modified and "scaled-up" to work over a large fire, out-of-doors, using larger "vessels", such as drums, barrels, funnels, etc. ... Thanks again, so much.

  • Very cool. Very useful!

  • I don't mean to beg. But when is Gator season or frog season? I would love to see a recipe on fixing either of these delicacies. Also, If you could give a good fish recipe. That would be great. Not to spicy though. Remember us from the North. We aren't used to spicy cajun food. LOL But we do like fish. Could you help us out with some Southern Fish, Gator and Frogs? Love some Frog Legs. Looking forward to some good eatin'. A real man knows how to eat, and his woman knows how to cook for him. LOL

  • Well done young lady. Do you know that your wisdom will be passed on and who knows how many lives you will save through all of your videos. I'm so proud of you. And I look forward to seeing the other great videos you will put out. You truly are a great teacher. Thanks for every one so far, and all the ones you share in the future (should you be willing). God bless you and your amazing family. We (out here) are very blessed to have met you. Bye for now. Jim from (now Oklahoma). :-)

  • Some types of chemical contaminants will boil along w/ the water and distilation won't get rid of them. I don't know how common it is to have them present tho.

  • Wow I had no Idea that this was how you get salt out of water. You're super smart. Thanks, once again, for Educating me :) Philip :)

  • awesome video, good info im trying this!

  • btw...great vid as always

  • you mentioned fluorides... i've wondered what your motivation is for the survival videos. you must know that fluoride is in things like toothpaste and tap water. how far does you and your family go to eliminate things like fluoride from your diet???

  • nice simple video, keep them coming. Thanks

  • good thing to know if a hurricane hits here again and we are out of water for months again. People were going crazy lined up for hours to get just one bag of ice and a flat of 16 oz waters. (Jackie Vidor, TX)

  • Good Job as always. Being a stay at home dad and homeschooler I appreciate your vids. I use them to teach my daughter a more natural way of life. We very much appreciate what you are doing with both your Youtube channel and Web page. Thanks again, Miss M

  • Could try a water bath canner,as the rack would hold the jar in place. Caution about sealing the pot, it would build up pressure and that could cause major suckage...great video..

  • Love all your survival vids! Thanks!

  • Good video.

  • Somebody give her,her own cable show already! Maybe like "dual survival" but with women.

  • @crabtrap I second that!

  • So about how long would it take to distill like a gallon of water that way? Ty so much for the info btw..you always have such informative videos!

  • @kokonutbaby1 hummm that cup only took a few minutes so a gallon would take probably around about 2 hours

  • @MayeuxMinistries well i guess what we need is a good 'ol fashioned still so we can produce larger amts faster...for water not moonshine, LOL ;)~

  • Another excellent video,You never know when you may have to use this,Thank you very much

  • i swear you get cuter every time i see you :)

  • @bustfer07 thanks :)

  • would these be the best way to purify water from most contaminants ?

  • @bustfer07 distilling is the most thorough form of water purification that can be done relatively easily.

  • Thanks for sharing this! Great info, well done! Cheers and best wishes -

  • steam burns major suckage Love that technical term To keep your pot in the middle from bouncing just place it on 2 or 3 kitchen knives to get it off the bottom and allow the air bubbles to come up naturally around the bowl you could also reverse the contaminated water and clean water with the lid on proper as the clean water will drip down the side of the pot. For those who think it may need more cleansing

  • ... bring the distilled water to a rapid boil in a separate pot then remove from fire or turn off heat and let cool naturally .. this water will be pure and clean ... then pour between 2 clean containers to airate the water..... Great video as always also works great with your river bed filtering you showed in a previous video.

  • Excellent video and information. I've learned much from your videos, thank you very much. My family is from the Monroe area so watching your videos is a little bit of home for me. God bless and keep the faith.

  • this same method will also work using sun power if you arent being pressed for time. painting the pot black of getting it soot covered from the fire will make the solar solution more effective.

  • Great Tutorial for this method! There are other more complicated solutions to this problem. water gains 'flavor' from minerals from the ground water source it came from. distilling removes all of that. a low flame input will allow the air cooled 'condensor' (reversed lid) keep from being over powered. The condensor is the key element to any distillation tower. too high of heat will also generate steam pressure that will lift the lid off the pot and allow steam leaks.

  • Intelligent, attractive, personable, thanks for sharing, I enjoying learning from you

  • Thanks for the info.

  • Excellent video. Same principle as a solar still, love it! Thanks.

  • Unfortunately from about 3:14 to 5:04 (and other points we wont speak of for the sake of politeness) most of your audience being male armchair survivalists saw nothing but your cleavage at the left of their screens and learned next to nothing. That said, thank you for another informative vid. I notice you had your hair and makeup done up a bit this time, you go girl.

  • Great video! Thanks!

  • god is she beautiful beautiful eyes face i wish i could find a nice smart southern girl like that :) if shes reading this an u dont have a bf hit me up id love to be him :)

  • super hot hot

  • PDF meter would help to show the point. Should show 0 then.

Thanks for this easy and common sense point.

Do this together with a solar oven and should be very feasible.

  • Good information, thank you. Attractive young lady too.

  • very useful to know

  • wooooo first i win :)
