Michael Jordan's star shined so bright it overshadowed a lot of guys who probably would've gotten more hype if he wasnt around. Instead of "If I could be like Mike" it very well could've been "If I could be like 'Nique". Wilkins was every bit as talented as Jordan and if he had the Nike marketing machine behind him (as well as some better teammates) it might have been a different story.

@LakerKev Keep in mind, when Nique was playing, MJ didn't have the spotlight by himself. I remember those rivalry games, years and same scoring stats that Domonique had. It wasn't until he got injured and was out for a sometime that gave Jordan that solo spotlight. But before that, Wilkins was every bit of M.J.'s competition.

Dominique was hands-down a better player than Jordan... TRULY Under-Rated! Even Charles Barkley continually says Nique remains the most "under-rated player of ALL-TIME.

The only reason Jordan received such recognition is because he played with a better supporting cast (i.e. Rodman, Grant, Pippen, etc.)

Had Jordan been stuck on the mediocre Hawks with Kevin Willis, they would've been lucky to make the playoffs every year.

Well, at least Nique made the 'Hall of Fame' a few years ago.

That dunk at 1:58 is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. He is literally LOOKING AT THE RIM over his shoulder and doing a reverse at what seems an almost impossible angle IN A GAME. Dunking for him was so easy its almost as if he got bored with it, and said, "hmmm what shall i do now.
