Wonderful! It is so spiritual. As St Augustine wrote, ' He who sings prays twice'. Are you in the Middle East or America? I have been reading about Aramaic Christianity and its demise. Something should be done, but..... Anyway you are a marvellous ambassador of Christ.
we are all Gods/Creators children, gay, straight, black white, jew , christian, pagan, native, religious, non religious, woman, man... may we remember that this year at christmas.
i can see he was Jewish, but how did he end up speaking Aramaic instead of Hebrew? thats why i think theres the Aramaic-Assyrian connection to Jesus's family history. after all, Assyria had a huge empire! and no doubt many Assyrian Aramaic speakers settled in the region around where Jesus family lived.
Assyrians were the people of His hand, as it states in the Bible. It is also stated in the Torah and Quran. Assyrians were chosen by God to punish the Jews for their sinful ways. They did so, which is why Jews live via diaspora today. However, long after, Arabization happened, and Muslims tried eliminated the Semitic Christian Assyrians. Much accomplished, but Assyrians and Aramamic are not extinct!
you are a wonderful singer, thank you very much for bringing this beautiful Christmas prayer for us, 'Breekh Mawlode d'Moran'
