  • And for the yahoos who think you can get body work done for cheaper and get a factory finish out of it put the crack pipe down. I have run a 170 a month used car lot for years and you are fooling yourself if you think it can be done. I have seen some decent looking body work at the cost of $150 per panel and within a year or a few pressure washes later the paint is history.

  • Good work what tap down is that you are using? Does it have a delron tip?

  • What kind of glue was that that you used?

  • Sick work bro, killa skills! Thanks for the video, good job.

  • Lol is that for real. Im in the auto collision repair business too.. and man losttroubador.. you said.. spray cans.. your argument is invalid..lmao. keep it up denttime. Nice work.

  • Thanks, I am happy you are impressed.

  • Now, while I understand a professional wanting to make the most of his labor, time and skills and creating a system whereby he can achieve this. It should noted that I have beaten the price he charges for this repair many times by simply getting a new fender, primering inside and out. Match the base color paint, have put in aerosol cans at my local auto paint store.

Finish it with clear and install it in less labor hours than he has. In every case no one was able to tell that it was done.

  • @LostTroubadour UHH?? Isn't that more work than what I can do in one shot? Besides, who wants to loose their factory finish if they don't have to. My time and experience has tremendous value. Unfortunately you don't understand my customers don't want to replace panels or repaint. In addition, doing it the way you said you do it, I doubt anyone would pay for it.

  • @denttime Would you like to set up a wager with an online neutral betting site?. I will make a video of my process with all of its expenses and costs and post it here. I will put up $1,000. If my video disproves your claims then the betting site will pay me $2,000. Sound good?

  • @LostTroubadour Any time. I would hands down bet nobody would pick your option compared to mine based on convenience, quality and time. No way in hell, once a customer calls you can get parts, paint, install and buff like factory compared to my option. Why am I even arguing with a person like you? You don't get it. Also I can remove a door ding in 5 minutes. No overhead, no material, no loss time. But you would paint it? LOL! Thanks I needed a laugh tonight. LOL!!!!!

  • This is an art as great as custom paint itself

  • my dent is a little bit worse right behind the blinker. I m thinking about a salvage fender.

  • that was a respray, he didn't show the whole thing

  • @Jx1x3 LOL. Hey thanks. I am flattered you think so. You should watch a few more videos of mine and then see if you change your mind. Take care..

  • you can come over and do my 03 silverado and 90 allante anytime.

  • DAMN YOUR GOOD!!!!

how much experience in body work do you have

  • do you like it im thinking of getting into it

  • Nice Job Mike. Got my first real experience with using glue on a severly hail damaged Chevy Trailblazer here in Kansas City Last week. Job came out excellant for the most part. Customer was exstatic, but being a perfectionist, still have 4 dents not accessible with a pick that had some very small lows left in the center. Got any advise where you can get some small pull tabs with a glue that will hold them to get those micro lows that are stubborn?

  • good job

  • love it!!

  • Tada!

  • First off, I'm in the automotive field and don't know of any quality reputable auto body shop that would repair and paint that dent for $325. Second, even if a shop would do it for $325 why would you want to loose the factory paint, take the risk of your paint not matching 100%, and also be without your car for 3 days? This repair was probably done in less than 2 hours, the customer didnt need to pick up and drop off his truck, or get a rental car if its his only vehicle, Kind of a no brainer.

  • Ugh i hate crease dents. Got one in the same place on my Jetta but way deeper, but hopefully ill get it into the booth this summer! You do a great job

  • You guys don't understand that you are paying for his expertise. My friend does this for a living and when they say, that's too much money, he says, here's the tools you try it. They leave him alone after that lol. Keep up the great videos SIR!!!!

  • 4:21, fuck it just paint the damn thing... for $325 i woulda blended the hood too

  • @wmajor13 LOL. Ya that's the way to do it. Go to a body shop, loose the factory finish and do more work than it needs. Why didn't I think of that? Ya that is a way better solution then doing paintless dent removal.

  • @denttime loose the factory finish, why the heck would you want the factory finish? new paint, new clear, looks better than factory. im all for PDR, but for the price i dont know, maybe you work in a high class neighborhood, to me your over charging. but good for you if you can get it why not

  • @wmajor13 Over charging? I work for body shops all around town and what I charge is crazy cheap. Are you judging by what you "think" it should cost or really comparing a real estimate? Not Maaco or Earl Schibe either. It takes most good body shops 2-3 days and that is if all the parts are in. Plus, R&I time, labor and paint. You also loose 25% of your resale value once your vehicle has been painted too. And you still think I am over priced? Not to mention it was a very complex dent to do.

  • @denttime i completely understand that its a tough dent and im sure your clienttel dont mind paying for it. i know what estimants are im and estimator. there would be no parts ordered or anything so im not sure what u mean by that... repair the dent blend the hood out in 2 days and for the same cost no big deal im just saying there are two ways of doing it

  • true skill

  • that was sweet. never knew that this would work so good. great job on the videos very informative.

  • oh ya! i had already seen you comment back the price to "johhnyluxury" , but i mean you should do it for other upcoming videos w/o ppl having to ask u all the time. Regardless.. Im a girl and i know NOTHING about PDR but i have seen from ur videos that u do an amazing job! I hope u keep succeeding. thanks for the videos.

  • i think it will be very cool of you and perhaps extremely helpful for viewers like myself if you gave out the price for what you would charge for such work. that way the public (like myself) knows when were getting charged too much.. youre a proffessional and if a pro like you charges (example) $350 for "x" dent. we would know when a newB is charging us too much. im not sure if you get what im trying to say. basically just wanting to know how much you charged for each work you upload. thank u.

  • oh wow..... very nice job. congratulation...!!

  • Hey Myke, how much do you charge for a dent like such in the video?

  • @johnnytluxury $325.

  • @denttime dammmmmmmmmmn thats alot i had a good company here in san bernardino ca do my hole entire honda civc all the way around for 175$! nothing major like that thos just dings and about 2 fist size dents

  • @N2THATMONEY Do you know how much that would have cost at a body shop? Second, not just any PDR tech can do dents like these. And if they could, they would know that it takes years of experience to do it. And in conclusion it's an art. A 2-3 hour PDR repair for $325 is cheap. You don't have to go nowhere, no rental car fee, no record on insurance, no Carfax report and no inconvenience. Add that up and you get the word "VALUE."

  • @denttime who would pay 325 bucks for that??????

  • @Mr420fighter All day long. Because I deal with smart and intelligent customers who understand they not only save money but valuable time and not to mention the resale value without loosing their factory finish. But then again.. not everyone can afford high quality.

  • how long did it take to fix it?

  • Great work on that one!..............as usual.

  • That was nice-I like all denttime videos. You guys are among the best out there.Im just learning the art of moving metal.Your videos are very helpful-except when I cant follow the lines and must do walk of Shame! LOL

  • Thanks Takeda. How is work in Japan?

  • Thanks DentTime.

Japanese PDR came from USA in 90's.

There are several hundred PDR technicians.

PDR tools and accessories are all USA products.

A1tool,DentGear,Dentcraft,Ultradenttools...is a wonderful tool and accessories.

In Japan it is demanded that fix small Dent precisely.

  • Wow really? That many technicians already? Far as quality, I'm sure the demand is high. Take care Takeda and continued success!

  • Myke you are truly Master of CREASES.

I had opportunity to work with Myke on one crease about 2.5 feet long. He gave me good insight and tips. That definitely helped.

  • Thanks David, you always show the love. And thanks to all who gave me 5 stars!
