  • its a triplet!!

  • @Arealwiseguys women have been used as ornamental design going back to ships centuries ago! Crew members felt like it brought luck! That is why ships, autos are often revered to as she.

  • @scuz55 if you spend 200k plus on someones lunch then they will have to eat so much they most likely weigh the spaceship down and you will never get of the ground anyway...your logic is floored ...quite literally...in fact grounded...

  • holy shit.

  • the artwork signifies the spirit of freedom. this has always been personified as a flying lady.

  • just by looking at it, i can tell it's a wild ride!

  • great job ppl!

  • so is that unmanned?

  • @spacespace22 No!

  • this is sience FACT!

  • The Art Work is a young woman undressing, with a space bubble helmet with her blond hair flowing out the back as she arches her body forward, arms straight back? What is this supposed to mean? How about a logo instead? On the other hand, I am excited about the significance of this project, that it is being made in my home country as the first commercial space exploration project. It's something I would like to be involved in. I could make the logo....

  • @ARealWiseGuys

You obviously missed Branson talking about the image being that of his mother as a much younger woman. She was evidently an airline stewardess many years ago, and the logo is a tribute to his mother. His mother approved of it!

  • really cool ! i was watchin a documentary on it last nite very cool !

  • @scuz55 lol

  • I'm always excited when a new Virgin Galactic video is added. Especially when reaching major milestones. You're seeing the future now. A takeoff and a landing is what you'll see when you ....or a friend of a friend goes into space. That's why this video is so fantastic. What were you doing on the 10/10/10? (I had my tenth drink at 10:10pm)

  • Congrats to everyone on the virgin program!

  • Very cool! Very, very cool!!!

  • Virgin Galactic is issuing in the "galactic age" but another invention has followed right on its tail to help. The new material called Graphene. (So new that the spelling check is telling me its a mistake lol) Anyway, way more than I can write about here but look it up. As soon as they can find the technique to mass produce it it large sheets than space flight for the common person will be as common as driving cars.

  • VSS Enterprise wonders were they got the name from heh. lol.

how ever this is fantastic news first step for man was the mission to the moon and now 2nd step is getting other people into space.

How long do you think now till we have something like a space ship like on Red Dwarf or Star Trek. :).

I think Virgin Galactic and Nasa should put there heads together aswell and who knows I reckon we could see more space ships by 2032.

  • @sedgie09 OV-101 Enterprise takes flight for the first time over Dryden Flight Research Facility, Edwards, California in 1977 as part of the Shuttle program's Approach and Landing Tests (ALT).

I think the quote "Where no man has gone before" and the name Enterprise became synonyms. Whether it's actually going someplace or these endeavors to commercialize space travel. I don't think this will be the last space craft to bare the name Enterprise. either way I like it!

    Gratz Virgin Galactic!

  • @usinghername

Yeah I got told by someone else that there was anther Shuttle that the USA had which was called Enterprise at the time of watching this video I just thought they used the name from Star Trek lol.

still I agree with you, just goes to show what we can achive but imgen what we could achive if we all worked together.

and also 2032 sounds futuristic to way if you know what I mean.

  • True visionaries.... May all of your landings be as smooth as that one.

  • Really exciting! Thanks for for putting this up and Good Luck!

  • People don't care about this right now because it's not finished, once the celebrities start going to space and Richard Branson makes a bigass official launch party, believe me, people will care. No one cares when Neil Armstrong went to the moon until he actualy flew there, no one cared when he was training for the mision

  • I was there! Truly amazing!

  • Love it!!!!

  • Yessss first comment ! how come this has so little views???? this is the beginning of something amazing!!! the history of airplanes is like repeating its self except were going into space!!!! virgin glactic and spaceport america is awesome!!! the future is now!!!
