ok from the beginning , horns are not tune, they are in ritard, cellos are off-key always,violins are off-key tow but they have the rhythm problem too,double basses are the worst part of the orchestra, I wanna ask something ,Mr conductor why you choosed this pice when you know this orchestra is not able to perform this music.....I have seen this orchestra 5 years ago ,and the were playing much better than this performance........very great backward ,BRAVO

Yes, unfortunately that's all true...It's a difficult piece, and he is not really that much of classical conductor, he is probably good in film music or improvisation or Yani music, but not in this level of classical music. I do not know, if it's good to not perform at the first place or not; as far as I concern, at least they do something, I know they are not doing it very well, but I think it's better than nothing (that's one way to look at it).

I am not great fan of this conductor for this level of classical music, he performed Stravinsky's Firebird few years ago with the same orchestra, it was horrible. However, there is a Rachmaninoff performance by the same pianist here in youtube, he makes less mistakes. But at the end, since people are not used to classical music, and are not aware of good performance, they like his conducting motions,believing he is doing a good job, which is unfortunate.
