@innerfidelity So you reccomend the grado sr60 I wanted to know if besides the price difference, if there was any noticeable differences between the grado sr60 and the grado sr80, or do you think they sound the same, or is one better than the other?
So why would they take a pair of DJ headphones and rebrand them with Tony Bennet? As for the DJ 100s, they are detailed with foward mids but to some lack some bass and as he said, occasionally sound "papery" compared to higher end headphones. They really do start to grow on you after listening to them for a while. If you can pick them up for under $70, I would go for it.
Could you review the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Noise-Isolating Earphones from logitech? They're a $400 pair of in-ear buds and i was wondering if they are any good
What would you recommend for amazing classical headphones. Someone recommended me the BeyerDynamic DT660, but I would like to know your thoughts on this before I make any hasty decisions. Thanks for the great reviews :)
whats better be honest im looking for better sound and noise isolation i dont really care about the look. so the V-Moda V-80 vs beats pro vs bose quite comfort 15
Does anybody here have any idea how these compare these babies with V Moda Crossfade/ 80 and Audio Technica Pro700mk2? I listen a lot of modern songs and would like to ask anyone which of these is a good upgrade to my Audio Technica SJ33.
I actually had a pair of the Koss Pro DJ100's a year ago, picked them up for $50 for some pre-Christmas sale. I really, really liked these. My music is mostly folk, so their sound sig was absolutely perfect for me. They were pretty much the best $50 I spent on audio gear. I actually kind of miss them now...
Hey! What is the best headphone to purchase if you want loud bass - but do not want to buy beats solo or soul sl100? It needs to fold and be comfortable. Thank you so much for great reviews!
@megaohmz Thanks - i actually have these:) What do you think about sennheiser hd 229/239 and bose oe2i? Know bose is crazy overprized, but still. I am not good at modding headphones:) If not sennheiser or bose - could you give me another recommendation? Keep going!
@ygre1986 Stay away from Bose. The SQ is terrible, way too tinny. I like the HD senn 570, but those are not around, so look for a newer model. I hear Fostex headphones are pretty awesome for the price, but might need a little amping. Grado SR80i are a great buy for less than 100. But for now My go to headphone is the Koss portapro since they are portable and sound great, even more so with the Gepco wire.
Can't wait till you do the 50cent headphones sms I purchased the q701 and didn't like them for what I use them "music production" there very light on bass wish I wouldn't have bought them
i can tell when you like a head phone right from the start of your vid because you have a big smile on your face gives it way all the time best reviewer on the net got me into collecting headphones got senns hd 650 denon ah 2000 dr dr studio bose on ear audio technica m 50 and klipsh s4 i need to get more head phones i heard that paradigm got some in ears out now love to see a review on them none out yet
@olde800hg Uncle Erik is a shit face. He is a stubborn old moose who thinks Nikola Tesla was totally wrong, and the Earth should be flat, rather than be spherical in shape. JK!
I'm actually going out to the store now to buy the regular DJ100s. But I don't think it's right that they charge an extra $70 just for the case, removable cord, and the download.
@Medibisu I'd say they do for the price. I listen to some crazy good headphones, so I can hear the flaws here, but for the money the DJ100 appears to be quite good.
Are there any DJ headphones you like, that sound good/pleasant with good bass that you would recommend or have you not heard that many DJ headphones.
Thanks again for your honest reviews can't wait to see what you review next hopefully the LP vs LP2's I know I'm not the only one who wants to see what you think of them:)
You should, they're my favorite headphones ever. I've had a few (incl. Pro 900's which i couldn't stand at all. They were sold after about a week, D2000 (as i keep, i love them) and the B&W P5 (they didn't do it for me.) and a few others.
These hit my sweet spot, for my taste that is. And they're awfully durable. It's scare how durable they are. They do have a few flaws with adjustment, but i'm lucky with that.
Isthe Skullcandy aviator better than the v-moda crossfade?

I'm using the original Pro DJ100 right now, i wonder how these differ to the Tony Benets and the 2nd Gen curved Pro DJ100.

@InnerFidelity
Very nice sounding speakers. My little tube amp needs more sensitivity, though.
Only 2x14 watts. Yarland FV-34C. Next move is tube rolling. :)

I have put M50 pads on it and it makes a huge difference to sound and comfort.

@jase3d1
jase3d1 is correct. The ATH-M50 pads literally transform the Koss Pro DJ100 headphones into a low level detail dynamic machine.
