a dremel is a rotory tool taht you can buy from walmart for around 50 bucks for a entire kit. you might want to shop around for a bit that cuts plastic . if you do not want to do this then you will want to use a drill bit.
i think that a jig saw might crack the case unless you have a very fine case and a good way to clamp it down i would think that if you used a ban saw that would be a great wa to gut somthing but you would have to figure out how to get the blade in with out just cutting to your starting point.
