  • Getting a sample to the blood bank is not more important than resuscitation, obviously. Very important to remind the student to get this so that they have a lower chance of missing this draw and then having to go back and do it later. Also, some labs take longer to get these done, so the sooner the specimen gets there, the sooner results are back.

  • Would someone be so kind as to help me understand the slide on treatment at time 2:50? I am wondering if getting the samples to the blood bank is really more important than the other interventions. Identifying cause is important, but...
