Hey, I drive the monorail at Disneyland and I've been collecting Disney monorails since I was 7 years. How did you make that one. I love it and want one

I cut off the nose cones of the original and replaced them with new ones. The new nose cones were made out of vacuum-formed plastic castings I did over a foam carving that matches the profile of the new trains. I installed lights at each end of the new nose cones that run off the battery. The nose cones were attached, sanded, and the entire thing was given a snazzy coat of paint and sticker windows.

What kind of paint did you use? was it model paint with the air can as a compressor or just a krylon fusion spraypaint? Any trouble with runoff into the tiny little grooves when you tape-off?

Sorry, I didn't realize this video had the old logo credit (I thought it had the new one). The train in credit in this video is an HO IHC Old time 4-4-0, heavily modified.

in 1950s the Disneyland Monorail was the very first Monorail in the United State, they've gotten the Idea from German Monorail.

I could, though it be easier to electrify the rails and run it off 12 volts DC, given the motor can take that voltage over a long period.

Its the Peoplemover "Nation on Wheels" song, but the horn at the beginning is from the Monorail song. Both tracks are from the Disneyland 6-disk 50th Set.

The song is from the 50th 6-disk set that Disney put out. Its the Peoplemover songe, with the soundeffect clip from the beginning of the Monorail song.

how did u do the lights on the nose and tail cones?

Those were done with 3 Volt lights I bought at a craft store that are wired directly to the motor in the lead car. The tail nose cone gets its power from the lead car from a wire running through the length of the monorail.

How did you make the new Disneyland Monorail. I have the Disneyland Resort Monorail with the Golden Gate Bridge I want to do it the same that you did. STNautilus Can you tell me instructions. please

First I cut off the nose-cones on the back and the front of the monorail. I carved a new nose pattern out of foam. I used a vacuum-form machine to create two hollow plastic shells from the foam pattern. I wired all the lights from 3 volt lights I got at a craft store. Those lights are connected to the motor terminals. I attached the new nose-cone and sanded the seam smooth. Next was the new paint job and window decals/stickers that I printed out. Thats how I did it!
