@htime9119 For this situation, in a unique show such as The Office, where you can laugh at it's humour and feel humble and hearted after it's emotional scenes, it's a damn well (perhaps even perfect) fit. It sums up the relationship quite well between Jim and Pam, one of the shows biggest gyres of viewing, and commits to the show and it's boundaries. It's quite a perfectly fitted scenario, here, rare to see.
I've been experienced with the entertainment industry, though. I do want no confusion!
@jonny2005450 . through a writer/director's eye this scene lacks substance. its filler. Ive watched every episode and the reason it is a good show is that most lines are better than this one. i don't doubt your involvement in the industry though...
@htime9119 I do receive your point well, as this would be intentionally made for filler and not for character development, and I did exacerbate my point a little there when I said this was "one of the best" lines.
However, I do think that this whole little scenario here that they portrayed is still wonderfully done. The writers on that show still have unremarkable talent, that's for sure!
