let me ask you a question Roy, I have narrowed it down to the V1 or the STI driver which do you recommend? I really like the immune feature on the STI ??

the bel gx65... is anotha detector u should consider... if ur area has red light, and speed cameras in place...

If you are in a state that the RDs are illegal the STI is must.
the V1 and the STI are almost identical in range detection in my opinion.
The only thing that V1 has over STI is the arrows, which if you owned a V1 it will be very hard to live without.
Other than that, both RDs are simply the best windshield radar detectors on the market.
