behind the other actor that he's doing a scene with, As a small time actor myself I would find that very annoying and it sounds like this lighting guy had done it more than once, and theres a lot of pressure on him to perform well you've gotta look at it from his perspective a little bit before making accusations or pointing the finger at someone

I completely agree! Stephen Colbert also parodied it last night with Steve Martin, and the comparisons of what its like for a news anchor compared to an actor are not similar at all. An actor is required to make themselves believe theyre another person in another world, which isnt easy to do when you got people constantly messing with lights in your peripheral. I think the general public doesnt understand this though, which is why its such an issue...
