  • Fantastica esecuzione!! Che chitarra suona il maestro?

  • Mind fucked.

  • It's a privilege to hear anyone reach this level of mastery.

  • Gordo con esa respiración cagaste todo

  • Half way through I thought I heard someone snoring....Zzzz...Zzzz

But it didn't distract from the master's skill, not too much anyway.

  • That was a great concert in Salzburg last week and we liked your Koyunbaba at the end very much! Fantastic, thanks!

  • This is Koyunbaba!

  • way mına goyım, ali desidero diye adam varmış la harbiden.

  • Whoah, can you imagine how his M and A nails are still alive after the triple fortes he plays?

  • Perfect oh my god. This is song beatfull.

  • my fav version of this movement on youtube

  • Aniello please come to Vancouver, Canada. I'd love to hear and see you live.

  • WOW! Where's my jaw I dropped it somewhere around here!

  • one word... epic

  • the e string of this guitar sounds like a whole orchestra, amazing.

  • 6 people that downwoted this video. are you daft?!

  • @msoulforged it's the 6 strings protesting the abuse

  • a very best composition and a very best performer.

  • Bravo, outstanding!

  • He is awesome! I think he played this even better than JW... but damn, when JW is playing you can feel some epic power

  • He tweaked a few things from the original composition, and I love it! The best interpretation I've ever heard, including from the composer. The piece just makes so much more sense with those subtle nuances.

  • quelle maitrise de l'instrument.... Phénoménal

  • perfect.

  • unbelievable skills and amazing music

  • A lovely interpertation of this piece. He has more 'sweetness' and personality in his version than Li Jie, although hers does feel technically superior, especially where things get hectic.

I really like what he has done with the melody though with a few areas of subtly changed pacing and pausing, especially towards the end. Very nice

    Turkish music is so awesome!

  • Fantastico!

  • No words... Absolutly great!!!!

  • GENIAL EXCELENTE

  • Check how the strings are vibrating at 1:20 . And he doesn't accidentally hit any wrong strings in that chaos. Wow.

  • @anoriginalname397 its actualy not that hard of a song...not trying to put down this mans amazing guitar talent but its a pretty easy song to play

  • @redghost105 Okay, looking forward to your rendition then...

  • @PaulSaywood what?

all im sayuing is its a easy to play on guitar for someone whos been plying for a few years(like me)

  • SO PERFECT. Beautiful, crisp! He's so into the masterpiece, you can even hear him breathing! It'd be my dream to play on this level.

  • It should not be humanly possible to play guitar like this. Absolutely amazing.

  • He is my Favourite guitarist ever since i heard him in the festivals in Greece, combining both technique, speed and most of all emotion.. i always love his music.. Too bad the Naxos festival is cancelled this year :(

  • I have no words...just AMAZING!

  • How can this happen ?? the sound is crazy !

  • YOU SUCK!!!!........ Im totally just kidding Really awesome!!!! 5 out of 5

  • Realmente impresionante.

  • amazing..

  • Perfect.

  • Very good technique!!!Amazing!!!

    Very good interpretation!!!

Fingers on left and right hand are more than good!!!

    Excellent finger positions!!!!

    Great Guitarist!!!

  • sublime esecuzione

  • IL PADRE DI RICCIO E BRAVO

  • So, so deep! Every now and again you see an artiste take a piece to a whole new level. AS Simply 'stratospheric' performance!

  • brilliant! technique is flawless, awesome take on this movement!

    Bravo!!!

  • i searched every interpretation in youtube. for me this is the better. right speed, emotion and satisfying technique.

  • wow!

i came all over myself that part at the end

    2:33

  • omg i... you... wow!!! im gonna meet you someday my friend you are a great player

  • Does anyone know where to find a higher quality recording of this by Aniello Desiderio?

  • @mriely Italica Famosa CD by Aniello ! Excellente ;)

  • GRANDE MAESTRO!!!!!! Grande

  • His hands are very similar to Segovia's hands and in both cases they do magic! I have no words to comment on this wonderful musician who combines maximum speed with the best sound quality, and all the rest. BRAVO MAESTRO!

  • is he using nylon strings or steel strings??

im trying to learn this song and i dont know if i should use myn ylon string guitar

  • it's a classical piece therefor classical guitar therefore nylon strings.

  • kk thank you

  • Nylon.

  • really...that's a bold statement you know.

  • People and their cacophony of opinions ... please be quiet and let me enjoy the music. It's a wonder you can hear anything amidst this competition of ideas!

  • also, Desiderio in my opinion butchers the harmonics section, starting at 1:58... Andrew Leonard is one of the few I've heard who plays it as written with a clear sense of triplets without rushing through

  • when was the video recorded?

  • Quest'uomo è un MITO... E' eccezionale!!!

  • Best one I've ever heard. It is robitically accurate, but played with very unrobotic style, I think the build up of Leonard's is very good, though in this version the build up is more gradual and ultimately better, I think.

Ive just found the other 3 parts played by this performer.... simply amazing

  • There's good interpretations and then there's THE interpretation. This is the latter.

  • Andrew Leonard's interpretation is the definitive one. Look it up. He doesn't rush through anything and builds expectation. Noone else plays with his patience and intention

  • his interpretation is so slow it sounds like me practicing with metronome...this one is more realistic if you consider other parts of this piece...

  • yes, the beginning is slow and sounds like he's practicing it... you wonder what's going on, but when he then kicks into a higher gear, it sounds that much more effective... contrasts in music are very powerful

  • This is excellent. I particularly like the video of this -- it is quite dramatic. Up close and personal.

  • dinomite!! when you see a performance like this you don't whether to be inspired or just shake your head and hang up the strings. :) paul

  • One of the best guitarists I have ever heard playing!

  • @nonexponential i know that was a year ago but on utube search li jie....chinese girl, plays a bunch of really tough songs including koyunbaba....you'll probably revise your statement about who's the best....ty

  • any tabs for this? every tab I found starts after this intro

but this is so amazing :x

  • this is not the intro, is the presto part

  • This is the finale, but if you are interested in the sheetmusic (not tab) pm me.

  • go on ares , you'll find the score

the tuning is from high to low,

    1 f , 2 d , 3 a,4 D,5 A ,6 D

  • if you can read notes i can send you...have no tabs though...

  • the best koyunbaba i have ever seen...

GRAZIE Maestro Desiderio

  • This is the best version ever!!!!

    why isn't be at first???

  • Very Nice! you can also check Cotsiolis' interpretation:

(the video is entitled COSTAS COTSIOLIS GUITARRISTA GRIEGO 13)

  • wow. La mejor versión que encuentro hasta ahora

  • Best version I have ever seen o_O

  • m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p.m.p

    LOL

    This piece sux, so ininspired

dont get me wrong, very well played

  • Each to their own i suppose, but i reckon this is amazing.

Im pretty sure you shouldn't judge a piece on it's fingering though... That's a tad ridiculous.

  • valid. look at recuerdos de la alhambra -

    pamipamipamipamipami

this piece does get boring extremely quickly once youve heard it a few times though

  • great piece

  • Insane. From 2:34 on you can even hear this man breathe, and it fits. Its weird, just like a bagpipe-guitar bastard. i really like it.

  • Wow...

  • Just like Andres Segovia, his hands are not the type to play guitar, and yet look at them move....He is a truly gifted musician who has obviously worked really hard to get to the level he has reached..

    Thanks for sharing.

    ;)

  • it came to my attention that almost al classical player have slighter bigger hands then other style guitar players ::P:P:

  • I would like to listen to the whole piece played by Desiderio I own only an interpretation by Antigoni Goni and Aniello definetely kicks ass. He`s such a talent...

  • Semplicemente superbo, bravo Aniello...

  • Magnifico,sound ottimo.

  • Outstanding! One of the greatst contemporary guitarists!

  • Speechless.

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • excelent

  • mamma mia

  • Superbo!

  • Aniello is God

  • I saw him this performing live. He is really great, perfect technique. After the show, he signed my guitar, it sounds much better now ;-).

  • Signed your guitar? Lucky bastard!

  • than go to sleep! i'am also like flamenco, i would say i really love flamenco, but this music is something!!! you should read the story of this piece...

  • Great!

I just sat beside him in a concert without knowing him ;-). But now... wow!
