@StMustaine Actually FUNimation used the Japanese music for Dragon Ball. For Dragon Ball Z (the Japanese version still used music from DB, while making new ones), they used Nathan Johnson for the first 67 episodes, and used Bruce Faulconer. Dragon Ball GT used Mark Menza.

I liked Dragon Ball for it's sense of adventure, it was really cool to have a young character like Goku and his friends going out into the world and fighting bad guys and winning and being really humble about the whole thing.

Dragon Ball Z was more actionpacked and violent, which was good as well, because I wanted to see more intense fighting and cool Ki Blasts and deeper story lines and more characters...

Dragon Ball GT was a big letdown... The 17 and Shenron saga were ok.

@gundamWWW I thought the Baby arc (and the Black Star Dragon Balls arc) and the Shadow Dragon arc were my favorite parts. I enjoyed Super 17 arc, but I just don't dig the ideas of villains coming back like that. At least we got to see the active Z-Fighters do more.

@AoiKageNoChikara Probably because Dragon Ball was slightly more focused in being balanced between adventure and fighting or at least that's what I thought. Dragon Ball Z was more focused on fighting in my opinion but I'm with you! I love them both! :)

To The topic of if dragonball is better or dragonball z; I always have been a Huge Fan of dragonball since i was Small And so have to say that The show dragonball (the original) is better since dragonball z was made half-assed ( leting broly revive 2 more times is One example)

However most people hear And on youtube have only watched the Show And have never thought of picking up The manga ( which is the original, And came before the show)And in The Manga there is no dragonball z there is only
