The queen sword is the last weapon you get Ico.

I know because Ico is my favorite game of all time but shadow of the colossus is my second favorite so that why i got Ico collection

It's broken on PS3... I beat all 16 and after the tree map, it stopped giving me items. Yes, they're all checked off, under the time limit. I just beat it the way the game laid out for me: I got the stone and map, got all lizards, had to rebeat it to max stamina out, then got all the fruit, but now time trials give me no items. It's impossible to get the trophies unless you play it weirdly apparently.

So I have bought the HD version for trophies. If I complete the game, unlock time attack and complete both hard and normal, can I use all of the items in a new game? Would be easier to find fruits, lizards etc ...

@SharkEyye Make sure the time you finished them in is BELOW the time given which is in orange. Even if you're a milisecond down you won't be awarded.

I need some help with this in a bad way. I just beat the game on hard after getting all the items in normal time attack. I sat through the credits for a second time and then saved. After I hit load I ran to the idols to destroy the first two colossi hoping to get the harpoon of thunder but nothing happened. Am I doing something wrong?

@burnindriver900 I figured it out. If you beat the game a second time before getting every item the game glitches and will not give you all the items.

@burnindriver900 Yeah I know what you mean. but restarting is the only way. If you start a new game, go find all the fruit trees. it will stretch out your health bar across the screen before you even beat one colossus. hope that helps.

@theotherworld215 Sounds like your going to pray at the actual bodies of the colossi. For time attack mode you need to beat the game once on a score and then go to the statues in the main hall and pray in front of them, then it will ask you to initiate time attack mode and give you target times and all that fancy stuff.

I was hoping the Queen's sword would have an aura of electricity like in ICO. A very useful video! Just a note though, the singular of colossus is colossus, and colossi is plural. ( time 3:56 ) Colossus is a Latin word, so one must use Latin grammar when dealing with the word. But wow, I've never done so much damage with the harpoon. But It still won't get the symbol completely gone, right? You need to physically stab it, don't you?

@podofmetal It looks once you load the game begin the game as the first time initially but with the resistance and health but with 0 Colossuses since you can kill them again but if what you look is to play the way steal attack you can touch circle in the statues of the Colossuses that estan in the temple or you can play the way hard and complete it

@Kingmanification The opened articles can be used but playing normally, you can kill to the Colossuses in the time attack mode but with your sword, arch and arrow and with your normal blue cloak, you can use the opened articles entering from the menu of pause under options he says articles pulsates X there and selects your ARTICLE

@masterlinx667 If you started doing time attack mode and then beat the game and tried to continue on the next playthrough the game is bugged and wont give you any more items. Just a thought because this happened to me and I had to make a new Hard game to get all the items. If you didnt go beat the game than you got screwed in some other way, sorry.

That happened to me too. Thankfully it was in easy mode so I learned my lesson. It would be nice if they fixed that bug in the HD PS3 re-make. Does Sony have a suggestion box?

They essentially taint you with evil. And after a while, that kind of evil shows. This is especially true if you've seen Wander during the second to last cut scene (and the last one altho there its slightly more obvious).

The things are pieces of Dormin needing a host, and i think he was just messing with the sword before they entered him (they do it after EVERY fight with the 16 of them)

i notice both the special items in normal mode and in hard mode both act the same in away. all except for the parashoot.

the explosive arrows(flash arrows) do just about the same damage for the harpoon.

the cloak of power and the mask of strength and power in normal mode, help make up for the queens sword attack power.

yes you can roam the land in search for fruits,lizards and secret spots like the secret garden that is located on top of the tower but if you really want to have some fun you should finish all the time attacks first starting with the last colossus to make it easier as you go on and roam around the land

the sea monster collosus ,hydrus, also stated in the bible as a whale,and unless im wrong, whales are hunted with harpoons. there also seems to be a climable spire at the back of hydrus's lake.

I don't recall getting my own health that high (more like 70% across the screen), but my grip was, at the most, past the right most part of the screen as well as the bottom.

got most of the items, every item in Time Attack, didn't work on hard time attack at all. Couldn't make Agro brown for some reason.

regarding the healthbar and grip bar being huge...two of the items you get in the time trials show you where the trees are that add more healthbar, (shoot the fruit down from the tree and eat it) and the lizards with white tails that add grip...

Hard Mode (and thus Hard Time Attack) must be started under a separate file.

Therefore, you cannot have the items from both time attacks on one file.
